8 years ago I left everything behind. The bullying, loneliness, and heartbreak I left it all behind. ****FLASHBACK**** Finally time to find my mate. He ordered everyone to treat me as the slave I am. That they did. My parents died when i was eleven years old i hadn't shifted yet, normally we won't shift until the age of fifteen. On the other hand I was an early one and alone. I shifted at twelve years old in a run down shack with holes in the roof that was my room. My wolf was the only one to guide me through it. When we shifted I looked into the broken glass of a window in the middle of the night, barely able to stand from pain and I saw us. We were beautiful. It is my 16th birthday, the day we can sense our mate. I don't care about anyone here. I hope he is a rogue or something to take me away. There's a party for the next Alpha named Anthony hand chosen by uncle since he has no children. I prepared dinner, decorated everything normally three or four people would help with but not for me only myself here. I was wearing the only rags I owned . I would wash them when I rained or in a nearby lake when I could sneak through. A holy long sleeve black dress to my ankles. My long black hair wavy as ever pulled into a bun. People were arriving so I needed to make myself invisible. Everyone was in the ballroom talking as I finished setting the table and lighting the candles when I smelt it. A delicious smell like no other ocean and mint. People started making their way in uncle and future alpha in front when Anthony's hazel eyes stared back into my own. "MATE" we said in unison gasps were heard. Oh no not him Goddess anyone else please. I thought of running before my body caught up to my mind. He grabbed me by my wrists, squeezing tightly. I thought he was going to break them. He growled at me, his eyes changing color when he snapped at me. "You will never be Luna, look at you pathetic b***h" he slung me to the floor. "I, Anthony Brown Reject You, Jasmine Rivers as my future mate and Sunset's future Luna". A pain shot through my heart but i would not scream i would not cry. I stood up facing the future ALPHA. "I, JASMINE RIVERS ACCEPT YOUR REJECTION AND REFUSE TO BE THIS PACKS LUNA." Everyone gasped at my words. Anthony just stared at me shocked but then Uncle whispered in his ear and he walked back into the ballroom. Once he was out of sight, Uncle turned to me Laughing. "This is phenomenal you know, so how about you two guards." he said patting the two men in the eye at every turn.''Have some fun but dont kill her. She will need to clean up the mess. That's all it took i ran as fast as i could i had no plans on stopping. Snow helped me with her strength and speed. We could still hear them growling in the distance they were hunting us like prey. I finally crossed the border and felt the bond of the pack snap. I was free from that hell. Now a rogue but i did not care i would never put myself through that again. I was starving so was snow so we shifted to stay warm in the rain and hunt some food. Didn't take long before snow had a rabbit i felt bad but it is a part of life. I had to survive. We then came across a small waterfall with a pond so beautiful. We walked behind the waterfall and laid there in wolf form. We were so tired I told the snow to rest. We were safer now than before. This was the new us and i was not letting anyone walk on us ever again. We would create our own path.
