DATE NIGHT

I couldn't believe Friday is the time for our date. What do I wear? I have never done a date before. Jemma came bursting in the door with Jordin. "Momma, Momma we are here to help.'' I gave her a big smile. "Well thank you baby, Mommy appreciates it. What do you have in mind?" Jemma smiles with three large bags in her hand and Jordin is bouncing up and down with excitement. "We went yesterday while you napped and bought some items. Jax told us it could be casual or formal whichever you prefer but we think you will love them." She laid the bags out and so many clothes they chose. My eyes immediately went to an outfit that stood out above the rest. I smiled and grabbed the outfit and rushed to the bathroom where I put it on. I walked out of the bathroom and Jordin began jumping up and down and Jemma smiling. I chose a beautiful gold dress that went amazing with both our chocolate brown eyes and my wolf's Emerald green eyes. Jemma then did my makeup to go with the outfit and put my hair in a low stylish bun. Jordin picked out some earrings to wear as well.

I gave Jordin and Jemma a big hug and Jordin a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you guys for helping." they nodded and Jemma spoke up. "Hey Jazz, I hope you have and I hope you give him a real chance. I think he is your real chance at happiness and all our chances at a real pack and family." "I know Jems I know I want to we both do. I am just guarded and my past isnt the most pleasant. I promise I will give him a real chance. I do like him. He is sweet. So I promise I will be okay." She nodded and engulfed me in a big hug. "So Jordin make sure you listen to aunt Jemma and uncle Jason and please bath by 8 and bed by 9 okay honey." She hugged me "Yes momma."

I then headed down the stairs to meet up with Jax. On my way down he was in the foyer looking out the window. He looked so sexy in a pair of dark denim blue jeans that hugged him so perfectly and a black long sleeve button down with the top two left unbuttoned. He must have caught my scent when he turned his head and smiled.

"You look beautiful Jasmine." he said in a husky tone.

"Thank you Jax." I tried not to blush at his words but I could feel my cheeks getting warm.

I took his arm and let him lead me out the door but not to a car. We followed a small concrete path. We ended up in the woods. He then smiled walking in front of me, blocking my view when he suddenly turned and stopped in front of me.

"I know we don't know each other and you have walls blocking your heart but I promise you I won't fail you." He said in such a sweet protective tone and then moved and I saw the masterpiece. "Wow this is beautiful." I said in amazement he did all this for our date wow.

"I am glad you like it." he said with so many nerves he was blushing.

"So shall we." I nodded and took my seat. We began eating and it was silent for the beginning.

"So Jaz how about we play 20 questions just to get to know each other." i smiled "You first then Jax."

"Favorite color." starting off easy ok "Colors and that would be white black brown and gold."

"How about yourself?" he smiled "Green, favorite season." "Winter the sun is always shining snow glistening in the sunlight. Am i your first mate?" The question took him by surprise. "Well no you are my second chance as i am yours. My first mate died after just meeting her. She was a rogue in a battle and I distracted her when we caught each other's scents and her boss wolf killed her in front of me. I never even knew her name." I was shocked that is awful.

"I am so sorry you had to go through that." I said with Sadness in my voice.

"Moon Goddess does everything for a reason." he said, trying to sound tough.

We continued with our questions and came close to being finished with our dinner.

"So Jax, who is your wolf, what is he like?" I was asking because I was curious as to how much snow I could feel her closer to the surface as we have really peaked her interest.

"His name is Kane, he is very possessive, bossy, protective, and annoying." He was benignly dramatic. "How about yours?" "Well as you know her name is Snow. She is also very protective, headstrong, bossy, but loving, caring, and the best thing that ever happened to my life."

'Thanks, Jazzy, but you could have left out your headstrong and bossy are you trying to make me look bad to Kane.' 'Oh come on snow, it is ok.' Jax just chuckles and it suits him.

"Can I meet Kane?" he slowly nods as he takes a drink of Cola and I am nervous. Then I see his eyes go from his usual chocolate brown to a Deep black and Gold. I now know Kane is at the surface.

"Hello Kane."

"Hello Angel, So glad to finally get to meet you officially." his voice was so much huskier than Jax's.

"Good to meet you Kane. Now I know you hear all he does so you know why we are guarded."

"I do my math, we would never hurt you or snow. You are the other half. Could i talk to snow Jasmine."

I nodded yes and let Snow come to the surface.

"Hello Kane."

"Your eyes are so beautiful my Angel." He was really taken with Snow. They were chatting. I was happy to let Snow have her moment. She seemed full of bliss. I was glad she was finally connecting. Which made me scared I didn't want her to get hurt. I was always the overbearing one.

"So snow would you like to go for a run with me." she gasped and gave me back control.

"I am sorry Kane we can not." he looked so sad and defeated, "But maybe one day i promise you will understand okay." he smiled and gave Jax back control. All of a sudden he was by my side mere inches from my face. My body began to feel warm and stomach in knots. With a little push from snow I closed the gap and kissed him. He kissed me back after a moment of shock and it was full of longing and passion. Once we broke free needing oxygen we were basically panting. "We should head back before the little girl comes looking for her momma." I nodded and grabbed his hand and began following him. I was feeling happy, full of joy. All of a sudden the worst thing could have happened as I turned and faced jax both of us getting the same mindlink.

"ROGUES." we were off. I needed to protect them and why all of a sudden are they gathering here attacking. I had a lot of questions and it is about time someone answers them.
