"I love you,Hera" Diana mouthed to 8 year old Hera as tears streamed down her eyes before she was completely set ablaze by the lachranians. *******12 years later********* "you should've never been born,you're nothing but an incompetent mistake" the maids said snickering as they flung a plate with scraps of food toward Hera and left.The plates shattered and gave her a wound,she was already used to this already so it didn't really hurt much. "I hate this place so much.I wish I could just leave this hellhole,if this rubbish king did not r**e my mother I reckon I would've lived a normal and happy life." Hera said boiling in rage while using a dirty rag to wipe off her wound. Diana was a very friendly,beautiful,and enthusiastic commoner.She was a bar attendant everything was going fine until the current King of lachran; King Rufus lachran r***d her while he was drunk, got her pregnant then completely abandoned her. Diana who thought she had to raise Hera all alone met Sancha whom played an important role by becoming a great and kind aunt for Hera and a person to confide into for Diana, Sancha was a carefree and a down to earth woman that always stayed positive and made Diana feel less alone. Seven years after Hera was born a huge famine spread over the nation.There was no water,no food,no rain.The whole kingdom suffered in agony whilst praying for a change and becoming desperate day after day. Chaos,death by starvation,riots, burglary all these activities starting becoming a norm in the society. A year passed with this unavoidable madness.Then as if to curb this madness a prophet delivered a strange prophecy which states that "fear not! thou shall live at the expense of the witch that bore a child of royal blood" the whole kingdom was in an intensive uproar. Two days after the prophecy was released to the public, Sancha went to the palace and relayed the information about Diana and Hera to the King. The King promised Sancha jewels but that wasn't enough to satisfy her greed she seduced the King so shamelessly and the King fell into her lustful trap. The news of Diana and Hera spread round the kingdom like wildfire and after two weeks they caught Diana trying to sneak out of the kingdom with Hera,they were forcefully taken to a jail cell. She and her daughter stayed in a cell for three days. The second day,Sancha came to visit them with a disgusted look on her face the moment Diana saw her she blurted out "why?" Sancha let out a cold look on her face and said "I always felt insecure compared to you, you had beauty,garnered complements at every turn and even had the king's child. IT WASN'T FAIR!!. but now I can be free from this stupid jealousy because now, you have nothing and I have EVERYTHING including the king's child" Sancha said while smirking. "please leave my daughter out of this she's innocent,I beg of you" Diana said on her knees."I'll consider it" Sancha said while gleefully walking away. "I'm so sorry Hera if it wasn't for me and my foolish actions you would've had a better life" Diana said crying her eyes out "it's okay Mom at least I have you,you're the best mother on Earth" Hera said with tears in her eyes. On the fourth day, Diana and Hera were dragged outside to the town square, they were about to burn both of them when Diana shouted "if you touch my daughter this famine will continue to haunt you all for the rest of your days and this kingdom will crumble" Diana knew that acting like a witch was the only way to save her child.The whole crowd shuddered with fear and started whispering.To stop another controversy from happening the chief officials adhered to Diana's words. Hera started kicking,protesting,pleading and crying but no one listened to her pleas.When she looked up at her mother she saw that her mother mouthed "I love you,Hera" before getting engulfed by flames and immediately after her mother's death she heard cheers from the people in the town's square."NOOO mom please don't go you're all I have".Hera screamed as people cheered she broke down on the floor and started cursing the whole kingdom "This kingdom is heading towards doom,doom i tell you.I'll make sure everyone of you suffer the way my mom did"she screamed and continued cursing the kingdom while getting dragged by the palace guards and that's how she ended up in the palace basement with absolutely no one but herself.
