Adella rushed inside her granny's laundromat to give her the good news.
"Grandma! You won't believe it! I'm so happy.
I got-" she froze seeing her grandmother lying on the floor motionless.
"Oh Lord! what happened to you? " she cried calling for an ambulance
*Beverly hills*
"Jk, you haven't changed anything in the house atall" Sophie said as she looked around the house
"Lock the door on your way out Sophie" he said casually grabbing his car keys.
"I'm not going home JK. I'll stay here"
"Go home. Your parents have been expecting your arrival"
"But JK" she protested.
"Uncle and aunt called me already, take your things I'll drop you off" his tone, getting impatient.
"Alright" she dragged her luggage
*City hospital*
"Ady! how is she?" Jackie asked she hugged adella who was already a mess with tears all over her face.
"They said she won't stay for long anymore, only surgery can help her now" she was sobbing loudly
"Jackie, I'll do it, I'll do anything to save her."
"huh" Jackie was trying to confirm what she heard.
She knew Ady had principles. A girl who was ready to keep herself till marriage. She was sure she hadn't kissed any man before, how will she........
"You are inexperienced. I don't think you can do it" Jackie said gently, trying to discourage her
"Teach me then"

Jackie was so dumbfounded with what she heard.
"The doctor said she'd have to be admitted in the hospital for now, so he can monitor her condition."
In the VIP room of the hospital, Jayden stood inside the room looking at the man who was sound asleep now. He was stable now.
Three hours earlier....
"Hello Sir, we are calling from the city hospital. Your father is having a psychotic crisis. It's a bit serious.
"okay, I'll be on my way".
Jayden looked at his father with a mix of pity and anger in his eyes." He doesn't even remember me, what could I possibly do for him?" A tear slipped down his face.
He walked out of the hospital, he headed to Kyle's club.
Seeing Jayden like this Kyle knew it was something to do with his father.
*Kross Group*
"Good morning Sir, you called for me" Adella stood in front of Jayden.
Jackie helped her apply makeup to hide her swollen eyes
"Review the last quarter from all departments and give me a summary. Also, with possible changes that could be made" he said without looking up at her.
"Okay, Sir, but there is an intern orientation this morning"
" Do you answer to them or me?"
"I'm sorry Sir"
"I need it in an hour time" he didn't bother to listen to her
she left quickly without saying anything else
He was in a very sour mood. He didn't sleep a wink yesterday and now he's working today. He remembered he walked inside the rain yesterday.
An hour later...
"knock knock" Adella knocked a little louder for him to hear
"I'm done, Sir,"
"Leave it on the table" he still didn't raise his head to look at her
"I get he is the boss but he doesn't have to be so rude" she thought out loud to have secretary Martins looked up at her.
She bit her lips as she has been caught.
"He is really a though man. I'm scared of him you know " he chuckled at his last statement.
"But he is competent, at the young age of twenty three he took over the company when it was in a bad shape and now we are at the peak" he added
Adella would be lying if she said she didn't admire Jayden Kross.
*Greenville Estate*
"Good morning dad and mum" Sophie greeted her parents as she headed down for breakfast.
" Morning princess" he mother cheered
After some minutes into breakfast her father asked her "How is Jayden doing?"
" He's fine. He is still the same with all those walls he put up. I feel sorry for him dad"
"hmm it's not easy to live with betrayal from the person you love the most" Danvers Kross said as he smeared butter on his toast.
"He is just being too much if you ask me. It is all in the past, so why still live in it" she huffed
"Nancy" her husband cautioned her
"Mum! why are you so insensitive?" Sophie stood up to leave the table.
"You're not done eating"
"I don't have an appetite" She went upstairs.
*Studio Lux*
"Hey kitten I knew you'd come over soon" Alex smiled seeing Sophie in his studio that morning
"I didn't come to see you joker" she scoffed
"But you did come, so let's see what you've learnt all this time" he said to have her confused
"I'm having a shoot in the Maldives. Wanna come, I'm hiring you as an assistant" he handed her a camera
"A-Alex?" she stuttered, she could feel excitement course through her veins.
It has been her dream ever since she was fifteen.
She remembered the first time she held a camera and Alex taught her how to take shots.
She was young then but she could feel heat rise up to her cheeks. The way he leaned in, his smell was intoxicating. since then she loved capturing moments and especially because she and Alex had time to spend like this without unnecessary questions.
"I, thank you Al" she hugged him without realising what she did.
"It's fine. This is my welcome gift to you. Don't ask me for anything else"
"But why are you red kitten? do you have a fever? he placed his hand on her forehead to check her temperature"
She swatted his hand away, she was aware of his presence " I'm okay, maybe I'm allergic to some ingredient in your cologne" she lied
"I'll change it then"
"Why? I'm not going to hug you again. I told you I'm not a little girl anymore" she folded her arms
"Hahaha" Alex ruffled her hair "My kitten"
Sophie could feel her heart skip "My?"
*Back at kross Group*
"Do it again. Not up to standard " Jayden gave the file back to Adella.
"Okay Sir"
He looked up to see the girl whose shoulders dropped. She was beautiful but not up to his standards and also he didn't touch his workers.
His phone rang
"hello"
"Jk! I have something important to tell you. Can we meet up ?
"Come to my office"
"Okay" Olivia sighed.
*An hour later*
"I'm going for a TV show Jk"
"Congrats" he handed her a drink.
"It's for six months though"
Jayden stared at her for a while, his face didn't show the emotions going through him.
"If it's a good offer go for it."
"I'll miss you Jk" she slurred coming close to him in a seductive manner.
"Won't you give me something to remember baby? She was touching him provocatively
He grabbed her hands and turned her over placing her on his table. He lifted her skirt.
"I wore it especially for this reason" she bit her lips arching her waist the way he liked it.
"I know you Liv" he spoke as he loosened his belt.
"Then give me what I want papi"
He rammed into her."f**k JK"
He kept thrusting into her with reckless abandon.
"Yes! Yes! Yes! JK . Please don't stop"
Jayden knew no one would dare enter his office, but he was wrong this time as the door opened and the file in the girl's hand fell to the ground.
She ran out of the office after she came back to her senses.
He was more than shocked. He felt like he was caught stealing something.
