Chapter 10Evan wakes in his own bed for the first time in days, but he doesn’t wake alone. Just like in Felis Forest, he wakes with Rene beside him, cuddled up with him. Evan could really get used to not having an empty bed. But he knows he shouldn’t get too used to it because Rene will have to go home at some point, back to his family.
Evan doesn’t want to think about that, so he wriggles closer to Rene, tucking his head against Rene’s neck, feeling soft fur and silky hair. He presses a kiss to Rene’s pulse and it start to quicken beneath his lips.
“Is it dinner time?” Rene asks sleepily.
“I was thinking we could switch the order up and have dessert first,” Evan says, lifting his head for a kiss, and he gets what he wants, Rene dipping his head and kissing Evan soundly.
