Now I understand.

Marcus got to the place where Alice was staying. Alice was inside as soon as her heart started beating fast she knew marucs was here. Alice made her way out to her Marcus. Marcus was getting out of the car when he saw her coming towards him. They stared into each others eyes unable to move. Marcus saw how Alice cheeks started to catch a pink color. Marcus grabbed her from her waist and pull her closer to him. They were face to face both of them breathing hard. They’re eyes boring into each other. Alice’s lips parted and Marcus made the move to kiss her. Their lips touched and it was out of this world. They kissed until Alice had to gasp for air. He kissed her jawline, neck and side of her ears. Alice wasn’t used to this type of affection. Her cheeks where red. “Marcus, baby, stop. My parents are inside the house. I don’t want them to see this. I’m embarrassed I’ve never done something like this in public” Alice said. Marcus stopped and stared into her eyes and with his hand he touched her face. He looked at her with such an adoration that Alice heart was about to explode. “Okay darling. Just know I will never leave you. Ever! You’re mine. Just mine. Where’s your father i would like to speech to him.” Inhaling her scent.

“Promise me you won’t do anything to him. He’s my father and I love him and I disagree how he manage the whole situation but I believe he did it thinking it was the correct thing to do. Please don’t hurt my only family.” Alice asked. “I wouldn’t do something that would hurt you in any way. Now I just want to have a talk with him to see how this is going to change. I won’t let you stay here or be away from me. I need you by my side. You’re the most important person for me. Never have I felt this way. This feels right and magical. I don’t know what it is but I want to hold on to it. No one has ever made me feel the way you make me feel by just looking at me. I’m not ready to let go. Never will I let go.” Marcus declared him self. He knew he wanted to say more but he couldn’t. These feelings were alien to him. He wasn’t used to this. This is something he knew he had to change in order to let Alice know that he wanted her. That he loved? Her? He couldn’t point what it is but he won’t let go. Alice grabbed his hand and walked into the house. Her parents were already waiting in the living room. “Marcus, your father called. He said to stay hidden. He’s sending his men to come get you.” Joe informed Marcus as soon as he saw him. Joe couldn’t stop seeing what he is witnessing. He could see that his daughter had a magnet or some sort of invisible force pulling Marcus to her side. It was hard to explain even his wife and him didn’t experience that type of force. Even though they were also fated mates he could see that his daughter and Marcus had something more stronger something out of this world. Just like what the prophecy said. “ how do you know my father? Why do you have contact with him? Why did you take Alice away from me?” Marcus was trying to compose himself. “This is along story which I believe your father has to be present. Just know that your father might want to harm Alice. Alice is in danger until your father accepts this reality. We love our daughter more than anything in this world and we will go into war for her.” Joe vowed. Marcus was so confused what does his father have to do with this? What did his father know? Would his father listen to him? Would his father hurt Alice? This is something he knew he wouldn’t let happen. Over his dead living body would he let something happen to Alice. Even if it meant going to war against his own blood. His father. At this precise moment Marcus understood that no matter what he will always protect Alice. Alice is his life now. His chance of redemption.
