Where are you?

It’s been three days and he didn’t know anything about her. Marcus was on the edge. His father called him the night about the explosion to congratulate him on doing a marvelous work. Marcus stayed quiet, he didn’t say a word and his father hung up. Marcus and Thomas have been looking and digging up the Nicholson’s life. Marcus came to find out that Alice father is an Alpha and her mother is a bruja “witch”. Both of them come from generations of strong supernatural beings. What would Alice be? She couldn’t be a wolf? She didn’t smell like one? A witch? No, she didn’t smell like that either. These days have been hell for him. He’s forced himself to feed. He hasn’t rested. He had to find her. Thomas was using all his sources and influence to help Marcus find her. Could she be his destined mate? Thomas thought about this. It could be? It could be that Alice was “the one”. It was odd for a vampire to meet his mate. It only came once in a lifetime. Since they live forever and moved around often they usually didn’t get to met their fated mate. He knew she had to be alive since no bodies were in the house. Thomas and him went inside the house. There wasn’t any scent of dead bodies. That meant she was alive. He had to make sure she was unharmed. He wanted to have her in his arms and never let her go. This was driving him crazy. They tried to search for her scent but of course her mother would have blocked it. Now that Marcus knows that Alice mother is a witch, she might have blocked Alices’ scent all this time. “Let’s keep searching, I will find her.” Marcus said. I need her, he thought..

Alice father left her hanging. Alice waited for her mother to come home. She searched the entire house and her mother wasn’t there. Alice kept thinking about James words but she couldn’t make the decision on spending the rest of her life with him. She wanted Marcus, it was weird since she just met this person! Ugh, this is driving me nuts. Alice thought. Her mother walked into the house with groceries. Alice quietly helped her mother bring in the rest of the bags. “What’s wrong honey?.” Her mother asked. “Mom, you wouldn’t lie or hide me anything right?” Looking at her mother she saw that she mother got nervous and didn’t answer. “I want to know why father made this quick decision.? Why California? What happened?” Alice questioned her mother. Theresa didn’t know what to do. She loved her daughter and wanted to tell her the truth. “This is something that we need to speak as a family. As soon as your father gets back we will go over all this” Theresa smiled at her daughter. Alice felt better, she knew her mother would tell her what’s going on. Alice sigh, “Marcus” she thought. Theresa noticed this.. “Alice? Are you okay? What do you know about that man you rode with?” Theresa asked Her. Alice hesitated because she knew nothing about Marcus, “ mother he might be one or two years older than me.” She responded. “That’s it? There’s nothing more?” Theresa questioned her. Alice knew how it sounded but she couldn’t explain to her mother what she felt when she was around him. The pull. “I just met him. He is nice and attentive” Alice told her mother. “That’s not enough Alice. You need to be careful with strangers, you don’t know what intentions they might have. You’re my only daughter and I wouldn’t want something bad to happen to you.” Theresa hugged her. “Alice, I have this weird intuition. I think there’s more to the story.” Theresa insisted. “Mother, you know I can’t lie to you. The night I met him, I felt a strange pull towards him. Something inside me woke. I suddenly felt safe, loved and attraction towards him was unbearable. It’s like I can be or do anything with him by my side. He didn’t feel like a stranger, he felt like home and peace” Alice responded lowering her head. Alice knew it wasn’t normal, she tangled her fingers together and bite her lower lip.
