THE DAWN[VOL.1]

The opening of a new day for a guy named Emeka, his dawn(day break)... Emeka was very curious while he's up from sleep, he prayed to God to grant him a new day. He dreamt of wrestling with two men. In their hands each were a book wrapped in the form of scholarship and a bag filled with a lot of items of all sort. He struggled with them till they were weak and couldn't stand, so Emeka held them at the neck to strangle them but they pleaded with him to let them go, he refused and said to them, 'If I let you both go this way, you people would keep tormenting my life till am down and die'. 'TODAY I AM A VICTOR OVER YOU, I HAVE FINALLY OVER COME ALL YOUR POWERS OVER MY LIFE', so therefore I won't let you go. He strangled them to death and left them on the ground, he was very happy and joyous for this great victory over his enemies. As he woke up, he straightened then this scripture strucked him, the scripture that says, 'I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. Lk.10:19[NIV]. He was thankful to God for His saving grace upon his life. Later he was contemplating what those things he had collected from those strong men meant and the Holy Ghost spoke to him saying, 'The books contains all your certificates for your university levels and most importantly the scholarship to any university of your choice, while the bags contains all the goodies and packages that will accelerate your destiny'. As he heard these he was a bit worried and said, 'Lord, how can this be?', my parents are very poor as to feed is a tug of war in our family. Son, the Lord responded, there's nothing I cannot do though to your eyes all these things I have spoken to you about may seem impossible but, 'With me(God) all things are possible'.[Mt.19:26;Mk.10:27;Lk.1:37,18:27;]. Emeka cried to the Lord as he was very sorry and he said, 'Truly Lord, your thoughts aren't our thoughts neither are your ways our ways(Isa.55:8). Finally Emeka prayed that the fulfillment of this dream come to pass and be actualized in his life. 'This dream SHALL ANNOUNCE ME', Amen. We've truly suffered in abject poverty, living in penury and wretchedness for years, this it's end. Emeka came down from his bed and woke his parents who were still fast asleep. He said, mum, dad, it's time for morning devotion, let's gather and pray, it's already getting late then he went and sat down on the chair in the sitting room awaiting their arrival. His parents thought to themselves, 'Is like something new has happened to our son I felt it in me while asleep, the mother said. Hmm!, I'm shocked, me too, the dad said, what he has never done before miraculously happened today, I thank God oo, let's go meet him there, he must have been worried and also bored. As they came out, he greeted them with so much joy in his heart and they responded, 'Our son how do you do and he replied, I'm fine, thanks!. His parents still marvelled at the turning out of things asked what had happened to him and he said, mum, dad, after the prayers I will narrate everything as for now, let us pray,'In Jesus Name, and they chorused, Amen!. Emeka led the prayers and within an hour they were done so he went and sat down because they always kneel round their dinning table to pray with hands held together in union and agreement ~ that's a norm for them. His parents who were willing to hear him speak said, 'Son, blow for us the trumpet of good news, let's dance in tune together. As he narrated, Emeka broke the bombshell and as he finished, the mother jumped up in joy and said, 'Can somebody shout HALLELUJAH and they chorused it three times. The father wept but it was tears of joy and not for sorrow. They hugged the boy, their only child, the mum caressed him on the back as they laugh aloud together. Mama Emeka also known as Mrs. Chidinma Okoro ~ Emeka's mother and papa Emeka also known as Mr. Obinna Okoro ~ Emeka's father; they both stood up and said, 'EMEKA', our only son;our heart cry and desire, remember how we waited on the Lord for you after good solid 19 years of marriage, no child, no anything to show for, childless and barren until God showed up on our behalf, he shewed us mercy and gave us this handsome you, we thank him. Truly, you're a child of destiny, your destiny is gonna be bright. You're 17 years of age, in SS3, a class remaining to usher you into another sphere or phase of life ~ 'UNIVERSITY' but it seems to be cut short by the enemy, the devil doesn't want your star to shine. Yes, we are poor and wretched, in abject poverty, no money to sponsor and further your education but I know from now onwards, our story will be different and be changed, Amen!. I could remember for sure while you were still 7 years of age, the father said, the enemy came to strike you down but with much with much prayers, you were resuscitated cos God said 'My son you can't die, No, you still have an unfinished assignment to accomplish for me. After that incidence, you quested for Jesus which we did and led you to Him, you got born again that day and started living for Him for that's where your true journey into destiny begun. Glory to God we never hesitated in showing you the way to the cross. LORD, roll away our shame and instead of it give us a double portion, we pray let the fulfillment of your son's dream come to pass this day in the Name of mighty Jesus, Amen. They blessed their son and the father went to his mechanic workshop to manage himself for that day, he never stopped praying, little did it occur to him that God was gonna answer all his prayers that day, he was praying reluctantly, not even serious and sure of what he declared but God was preparing the answers speedily assured to give his people their heart desire. Emeka and his mum were preparing lunch for that day, he outrightly stop attending school because there was no money to pay the school fees and many other things that needed to be paid. To their greatest surprise someone called the mother, Emeka rushed to get the phone from where it's charging. He saw only number no name and he said, 'Mum, it's an unknown caller, a total stranger. Get me the phone now quick before it cuts said the mother. Emeka hurried to get the phone, hah, me I can't recall who has this number, 'Am covered with the blood of Jesus ooh then she finally picked the call'. Hello, she said, pls, who am I speaking with. The man said, Ah hah, am I up to Emeka's mum. Yes, Emeka's mum is on the line, pls who are you?, she replied the strange caller. I'm Mr. Kayode, the closest teacher to Emeka your son, pls ma is he at home. Yes sir he is! she replied. Ok ma I'm coming over now. Mrs. chidinma, Emeka's mum said curiously in fear, pls sir,don't be offended at all ooo, I just want to get something clear here, 'Who gave you my number if I may ask. The teacher replied, Mrs. Amaka, also a teacher in your son's school, your very best
