Tharn POV:

I stay in the packhouse for more than a week now, reviewing all the damage from a previous attack, a good thing no member of the pack dies.

They are armed with special arrows, it is also made of silver but soak in the venom of the cobra, the most venomous one.

We did to them just like what they did to us, much worst. We became like this because of those people behind all this chaos.

All are peaceful before everything started, this mountain is for everyone, wolves, and humans, everyone is in and out of this rich forest until the nightmare happened 15 years ago.

A group of rogue, kidnapped a woman and r***d her, they r***d her until she no longer breathing, the search was sent all over the place even the secluded part of this mountain.

Until one day, she was lying on a rock his feet dip in the water, naked! It was brutal, marks all over her body, they r***d her in all his holes.

It was all over the news, we find out that she was a fiancee of a senator. All things happened quickly. One night, we heard painful howling from a neighboring pack the Silver lining pack.

My father finds out that they send a group of men, to kill all the people living in this mountain, afraid for his family and pack safety, my father transfer us to a most secluded part of the forest, but we didn't know how they find us.

That night, a group of wolves warned us, that the next target was a midnight pack, our pack,

We prepared everything, I was at the right age back then, trained to fight, since I am the future Alpha of the pack.

The battle last till dawn, we won the war, and kill their troops, but that's just the beginning, troops after troops were sent to kill us.

Until one day, the senator died in a car, accident, we thought it will end, but no. We find out that all the killings of the pack were not because of revenge but of personal agenda.

The man behind all the wars and battles between the hunter and werewolves wanted to rule all werewolves kind. He wanted to be King of all lycanthrope.

I take a deep breath, remembering all that happened in the past, I'm tired of dealing with this issue so I need to end this before the red moon.

I'm in deep thoughts when someone bangs the door, breathing heavily.

Annoyed with the sudden interruption, I open the door and glared at the person.

"What is it? " I asked more like a snarl.

"I'm sorry Alpha, but I was sent by beta Thorn, he said he can't connect to your mind link. " he's breathing heavily.

"You can go now! " he bows at me, then leaves.

I mind linking Thorn but Lee link me first.

"Alpha, there is a problem, a group of humans enters the border. " beta Lee is quite worried.

"Then deal with it, you know the rules," I told him.

Why do they sound like this is the first time? Humans are hard-headed, they love to break the law and play the victims when you caught them.

"We can't Alpha, Team said one of the intruders is his mate. " Beta Lee relayed.

"What? So it means a werewolf may have a human mate? " I thought to myself, I tightly closed my eyes, I started to have a headache.

"Alpha! " it's Beta Thorn.

"Report! " I take a deep breath, ready for another headache.

"Alpha there are three rogues sighted on the south border,! We need your help here! " I'm confused with all that happens, my betas have no problems dealing with this kind of situation especially humans entering the territory.

"What is happening Thorn? Why do you need me there? You know that Wolfrik will get lost if he smells blood! " I scolded my beta.

"The problem includes humans, the rogues target him! "

Shit! I walk out of the room and transform into my wolf, and run faster. I don't want the incident 15 years ago to happen again.

Thorn, meet me halfway, he leads me to where the human and rogues are. Telling him that I will deal with it, I ask him to help Lee.

I'm about to transform into my wolf again when the scent of my mate hits my nostril. My eyes widened when I realized that the human who is dealing with the rogues now is my mate. The same man I meet at my hotel last time.

What shocked me more is when he caught the neck of the rogue that attacked him, he smashed it on the ground and break the rogue's neck.

Then he faced the two other rogues, but fear is visible in their eyes, I look at my mate again, both eyes is shining in the shade of crystal blue.

He is walking towards the two rogues in a calm aura, but his look is ready to kill. The two run away from the place as if they can survive. I know my betas will capture them.

"Type!"

I heard a human is calling the name,

"I'm here"

my mate answered, "so his name is Type"

I look at him, the shoulder is bleeding, hands and arms are full of blood, he is wounded. He fights well. I'm amazed. I mindlink Techno to bring some medicines.

The group approached him, with a small dog carried by one of his friends.

"Oh my god! What happened to you? "

They suddenly look at the back of them, their eyes wide, full of shock, in one look they know already that the person lying there is lifeless.

"Did you just kill someone? " the man behind ask him.

His eyes look normal now, and it seems that he is not in pain, even though he is wounded.

"I'll explain to you everything, let's get out of here first! "

They are about to go, but my voice echoed in the whole area.

"STAY WHERE YOU ARE! "

They halt on their step and turn around, they look at each other, eyes is giving a signal to one another.

I stand in front of them, I saw the eyes of my mate go wide, "oh he recognized me" I smiled at my thought.

I saw my two betas approaching us, with the other member who is assigned to guard the area.

"Explain! " I told the humans, but I'm only looking at the eyes of my mate.

The man behind him who is holding the dog tried to speak but my mate stop him. "Hmm, he leads".

"It's not our intention to cross the red line, my dog jumps out of my arms when we are walking to the cliff, he runs here, so I cross not minding the warnings, I'm sorry! "

he speaks, his eyes fixed on me, the way he looks at us, I can say that he is not afraid.

"And yeah, I killed him,"

He tilts his head towards the dead man lying on the ground.

"I didn't know that a monster is hiding in this area of the mountain. "

I heard my pack member growled at him, his friends is ready to fight also, I mindlink all of them to not interfere.

"A reward? " his friend asked him.

"Yes, they want me to have s*x with them, and when they tried to approach me, I kick one of his friends, they got angry, and attack me! "

My blood boiled hearing his statement, how foolish of them touching my mate. I mindlink Lee to put the two rogues in the dungeon, I'm the one to deal with them later.

"We can make a report about this, for now, can you let us go? My friend here needs a rest! " the man with a pouty lip said.

"What about we make a deal? " I told them.

They just looked at me, waiting for my next words.

"Don't tell anyone about what happened here, we will not charge you for trespassing our territory? " I look at each one of them, I notice that they don't have any fear in their eyes.

They look at each other,

" I don't want to go back yet! " one of his friends told him. He glared at him.

"Deal!" They are ready to go, but my mate stops and turns to us.

"I think burying this bastard here is useless, he smells like a rotten animal even he is alive! "

Everyone was shocked by his statement, especially my member, only wolves can smell a rogue, they smell like that because they don't have a pack, or they were banished or they ran away from the pack, they will smell nasty and gross.

They walk away, but they notice two of their friends stay still.

"Win, Boat" my mate called them. He looked at them and turned his head to us.

He flicks their forehead to grab their attention.

"Are you going to stay here? " his eyes are quite intimidating.

"Pao," his friend called one of my members.

"I'm not Pao, my name is Team" one of my warriors snarled at him.

"I like you"

my mate was shocked, he grabbed his friend's shoulder and push him to walk. But one more friend he needs to deal with.

"Boat, I have a burger! "He said.

"Where? " the man said. We all burst into laughter.

My mate just looks at us, he doesn't even smile. They walk back to the main trail, escorted by two of my warriors.

"How is it? " I ask one of my gammas.

"They decided to have a dip in the waterfall, we find out that they are planning to stay the night on the cliff, but because of what happened they agree to go home! " Gamma Dean said.

I asked Techno to come to my office with Team. I need to talk to them before they will interact with their human mate. Yes, the man name Boat is a mate of Techno. Maybe they don't smell their mates but the bond works wonder.

I asked the two, to deliver the food and medicine to the group. I saw how their face lit up with what I said.

"Take it easy with them, they are humans,!"

The two of them bow at me and proceed to do their task.

I get one of the books in the library, it has a record of the different packs and their different eye color. It was an old book. As I opened it on the front page, an old photo-fall from one of the pages.

I pick it up and saw a picture of a young boy, about three years old, smiling, my heart melted with his smile, but I notice the picture on his back, it's a pure black wolf with crystal blue eyes!

"It is my mate's eyes but Is it possible that someone will forget his wolf, or didn't know that they are a werewolf? " all of that is in my thought.

"Alpha, you should come here! " it's Techno

"What is it this time? " I calmly ask him.

"The man named Type has the ability of healing, we don't found any wounds in his body, even his friends are wondering and one more thing, he found a ring that has an initial of T. A. K.! "
