Zian hated the subtle disgust Marianne showed about the notion of him being gay. He felt exposed. Especially to the person he wanted last to know.

Zian expressed his gratitude to Ethan for saving him after they had reached Nially house and she had gone to her room to take a nap. Tara stayed as well and planned to stay over.
"Do you still wanna go back?" Ethan asked as they headed back to the jeep parked outside Nially's house.
Zian shook his head. "We already bade goodbye to Nially's parents. We should go home."
