“What’s worse than finding a worm in your apple?”
“What?” Zian asked.
“Finding half a worm in your apple.”
Zian was cracking up at another joke Ethan was telling him. Ever since Alden got a girlfriend, Zian tried to forget about him and focused his attention somewhere else. Ethan had been on his side, doing what he can to lift his mood. Zian had made it clear that he did not want to give Ethan false hopes so if they’re hanging out; he hoped he does not see it as him giving him a chance.
“We’re friends, right? You can give me that at least,” Ethan stated. Although it was breaking his heart, it was better than not having Zian near. He was falling for him and he could not stop.
“That was bad but hilarious as heck!” Zian coughed after a series of laughing
