“Hey, so… earlier, did something happen?” Alden asked Zian.
Zian lifted his head to Alden and paused. “Um… It’s just my cousin. He got a fight with his dad so I got worried.”
Alden hummed, not entirely getting what Zian was telling him. His friend was in panic earlier. “Nothing bad, right?”
“Nope,” Zian said, denying the horror of what exactly happened.
Alden was left wondering. He took note to himself that he will ask Zian again when they’re in school.
