COME BACK TO ME – CHAPTER 43
Zian’s heartbeat suddenly picked up speed at the question Ethan threw at him. He thought for a second how to deny it. He could have said “no” right off the bat but his tongue was tied. His mind was in panic but now words came out to get him out of the suspicion from Ethan.
The sound of the jeep was louder it seems as Zian turned the gear to drive and took the jeep back on the road. Zian was thankful for the noise the jeep was making or he would be able to hear his own heart beating.
“You’re not denying it,” Ethan said as they stopped before the main road where they will take the right turn. A few people were walking across and they had to wait; Zian wished it was all over in a blink of an eye so he didn’t have to face the question Ethan threw at him.
