Collin asked to be left alone with Kay for the day. I was hesitant but I agreed. Maybe he would be the one to finally get through to her. She shut down after I told her everything, closing herself in our room without eating or talking for a week. Then she’s going on as if nothing ever happened. The doctors say that she’ll is recovering quite nicely and there were no complications other than with her vision. She was physically healing but I was concerned about her mental healing.
I believe that Collin would have better luck getting through to her than anyone else. They might have talked about the after but the before and in-between were still in the air. Taking Miah on a play date with the guys and their kids, I forced Lucinda to take the day off. I couldn’t do the same with Luck
