Chapter 6 - Just Before The Party

Jake's P.O.V

The night before...

    I'm pacing in my bedroom waiting for Sally to show up and hoping that Becca doesn't find out about this and hoping that she doesn't feel any of this. I start to doubt myself that I should have told Becca, what is she going to say when I tell her. Will she hate me forever, will she be able to trust me after this. These last two weeks had been going so well. The door opens and I'm ready to do anything to get this whole thing over and get back to my sweet girl. To my surprise it's my father and Warrior Shawn, Becca's father. 

    "Son we have everything in place. You did the right thing by coming to me. Becca and Sarah are in the basement, we sent Connor to watch over for both of them. And we will be waiting in the other room for our opportunity to put our plan into action." I nod at what he says. He pats my arm and then leaves. It's only Shawn and myself standing in the middle of my room.

    "I will tell Rebecca for you if you would like." Shawn offers and I just nod my head to give him the go ahead. Then shortly after he leaves as well.

    It's just me in my room by myself again and I'm left waiting. I start to pace again as it gets later and later into the night. I almost start to think that she isn't going to show up. I sit on the edge and place my face into my hands. That's when the door flies open. I look up to see Sally dressed in my smallest dress I have ever seen. It is so short that it might as well just be a shirt. I can't help but stare at her long legs. I look away suddenly feeling guilty.

    All she does is smile at me and stalk her way over to me until she is standing right in front of me. I pull her down onto my lap so that she's straddling me and I smile back even though I find her repulsive. I let her kiss me and I kiss her back. I flip her onto her back so that I'm on top of her. I raise her dress up just before her t**s. I slowly kiss down her stomach until I get to the top of her underwear.  I can tell she's enjoying herself by her breathing, but I'm just trying not to throw up all over her. 

    'This is killing me. Can't we just kill her.' Hex complains.

    'Shut up! This is to protect our mate!' I yell and then block him out.

    I move Sally's underwear to the side. I start to kiss her most sensitive area. I flick my tongue over her c**t and watch her squirm. I keep going until she starts to let out moans. I want her to start to scream my name before I call in my father to trap her. I go harder and start to suck on her c**t making her go crazy. Her hips begin to buck up and she's screaming. So then I mind link my dad that she's distracted and to come for her. They quietly come in and cuff her in silver cuffs and chains in order to keep her wolf at bay and to weaken her. I see her eyes go red and I know that she's angry and that she wants to try and break from the pack. 

  I don't watch the rest of the struggle instead I go to the bathroom and start brushing my teeth. I almost drown myself in mouthwash trying to get the taste of Sally out of my mouth. I'm absolutely disgusted with myself and how could I do this to my mate, to my sweet girl. I then strip out of my clothes and throw them away just so that I never have to look at them again. Once I'm in the shower I start to cry. I cry at the thought of horrible of a mate I am. I just want to be with her and not have anyone in our way. I scrub and wash every inch of my body. 

    An hour later I finally get out of the shower and get dressed in some sweats and a tee shirt. I want to go find my Becs, my sweet girl. Today is her birthday and tonight if she still wants me I'll get to mark her and show everyone that she is mine and I am hers. That's when I can tell that there is someone else here with me. I turn around and I can see him standing on my balcony, Chase Rollins. 

    "What do you want mutt?" I yell.

    "I want what you claim is yours. Becca. She's around here somewhere, right?" I can smell her here." He says through his teeth.

    "You won't ever have her. She's mine!" I growl out. I get ready to fight this bastard.

    We pounce on each other attacking. I use some of the new moves that Becca has been teaching me and to my wonderful surprise they work so well that they give me the upper hand. I'm getting ready for the kill shot and end this all when someone tackles me out of nowhere. I shake myself off and see that it's Sally. Shock is all over my face and I can see both Chase and Sally smiling with evil intent behind it. Before I can do anything Chase punches me and before I lose consciousness I see both of them jump off my balcony.

    The next morning I wake up in the doctor's office. I see my mother sitting next to the bed and I wake her gently. All she does is smile at me and then stands to give me a hug. She then goes to get the doctor and then comes right back. The doctor does his check up. Tells me that I'm going to  be fine and that I'll just have to take it easy until tonight. I wanted to spend all day with Becca, but for now that will have to wait. She's going to know that something is up if she sees me. But then I remember the attack and I'm not positive that Becca is okay so I quickly mind link my father.

    'Is Becca okay? Chase didn't get to her right?" I almost yell through the link.

    'She's fine. I'm sending her out with Sarah, Holden, and Connor. They all know the situation. And you can fill her in later tonight when you think it's right.' He says calmly. I sigh in relief.

    I leave the doctor's office with my mom and decide to have breakfast with her. I tell her about everything from the beginning with Becca. She just smiles at me. I can't tell what she's thinking. That's a first, I normally I always know what she's thinking about when it comes to my love life. "I like Becca. She's a sweet girl and I think she will be a good influence on you. You need someone who is strong to keep you in your place." I chuckle at my mother. She makes me feel better though so I'm glad that I've taken this time to spend some time with her it's been too long. 

    We spend the rest of the afternoon hanging out and talking. I tell her all about Becca and everything that I love about her. My mom listens and gives me advice for later in life when I know that I'll need it. It's getting into the late afternoon when we say our good byes so that we can both get ready for the party tonight. I can't wait to see my mate. I know that she will be so beautiful and perfect in every way. 

    I quickly get ready and go wait downstairs for her and Sarah to come down. It's my favorite day of the year for the past two years. I just love watching Becca descend down the stairs in a beautiful dress and know that she's mine. Watching how she smiles as she sees everyone there to support her and wish a happy birthday, it amazes me. I know that she will be a great leader and Luna of this pack. I can't wait to announce to everyone all that I know and show them all that she's mine. Just the thought of marking her makes my wolf stir inside me and it takes everything to control him.

I can smell her before she even makes it to the last set of stairs. I turn around and see her smiling down at everyone. I know that she is first looking around for her father, but she finds my eyes first. I can see her blush and smile as I smile back at her. As much as I want to be the first one she runs to I know that I will never be that person so instead I just wait patiently for my turn to take her in. When she reaches the bottom she hugs her father first. As soon as I'm about to make my way to the back of the party to wait my turn I hear her voice.

    "Hey, where are you going?" Becca asks.

    "I was going to give you space until it's my turn to have time with you." I explain as I turn back around to face her.

    "But I want you now." She says in a sexy voice that I can tell has a double meaning.

    "Then come get me." I laugh and she runs to me and wraps her arms around my neck. I pull her in close and take all of her in. This is exactly what I needed to make me feel better and I can't wait to show her how much she means to me and show everyone else as well.
