Chapter 9 - The First Attack

 Becca's P.O.V

    It's been a month since my birthday and still we have no clue where Chase and his so called pack of rogues may be hiding out at. It seems we have run out of area to the West of us like I thought he had gone. Now, we are searching in other directions as well giving other packs a call or even sometimes a visit to see if they have had any rogue sightings. But no such luck. Our plan is failing. 

    Even though we haven't found them yet we are all still training our asses off. Everyone who wants to fight anyway. Those who don't though have taken basic self defense classes just to make sure that everyone can at least stay alive if for some reason we are ever under attack. I fear that Jake is under a lot of stress, even more than his father. I wonder if that's because of me. If he lost me it would be the death of him almost literally. The death of a mate can be quit painful so painful you either wish you were dead or you find a way to end up that way. I can feel everything he feels and it worries me that when the time comes he won't be able to focus on anything but me. 

    All of a sudden the door in Jake's room busts open pulling me out of my thoughts. It's Jake, we haven't seen each other in a week. He's been off with his father visiting a near by pack to try and get more information. As soon as he looks at me I run to him from off the couch and into his arms. I instantly wrap my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck to bring him in extremely close to me.

    "I've missed you so much." I try to say without tears running down my face.

    "Oh I have missed you too just as much my sweet girl." He whispers into my neck. 

    I let out a soft moan from his breath and I know that this will quickly turn into something else. I smirk as I feel Jake's fingers grip tighter on my waist. "You know what that does to me my sweet girl." 

    I smirk into his neck and slowly start to grind myself against him, letting him know that I want this just as much as him. We've been a part a week. I hear a low growl and I know I have him hooked. I start to place small, gently kisses along his neck working my way up to his jaw until I meet his lips with mine. I gently tug on his lower lip and that earns me a moan and I can see his eyes flicker black knowing that I've got his wolf's attention as well.

    Next thing I know I'm being thrown onto his bed and Jake is on top of me. I know that I started to play with fire and I'm excited to get burned. I slowly start to take of Jake's hoodie that I have on and revealing that I have nothing underneath it. Again, I get a growl and his eyes flicker to black, but quickly return to normal. I bite my lip waiting for what Jake is going to do to me. Before I know it his mouth is attached to my n****e and his tongue is swirling all around it and he's pinching the other n****e with his fingers. He knows that this drives me crazy. I arch my back up to him so that he can take more of me right then and there. I can feel his hand slowly make it's way down to my p***y. He starts to slowly circle my c**t to tease me even more and it's working. I start to moan and grind against his fingers.

    Just as we are getting somewhere Holden barges into the room. I cover up as Jake lets out a booming growl. "Sorry man, I know bad timing, but there have been some rogues at our South side borders." Holden says backing up so that he can't see any of my nakedness. 

    "Why are you telling me. The border patrol should be able to handle it." Jake hisses out to Holden.

    "There's hundreds of them. It's like they are waiting to attack. We have to get everyone to safety and get everyone who is willing to fight in their positions." Jake nods at this information.

    "Right. Get Becca into her safe place and stay with her no matter what. You hear me!" Jake screams at Holden as he gets up to leave.

    "What! No! I'm fighting alongside my pack!" I yell, almost growl, out.

    "The plan is that you were going to fight when it was us that was going to have the upper hand and attack on their lands, not this. If they ever came to us we are going to protect our future." Holden informs me as Jake is already gone. 

    I pout at this idea of me just hiding and being able to fight, but I guess I understand. So, Holden turns around and let's me get dressed. I change into a pair of black leggings, Jake's hoodie, and my converse. I throw my hair into a messy bun as I return to Holden. We then very quickly get to the basement. Down there is the secret room that no one, but high ranking wolves know about to hide the Luna and in this case the future Luna. Holden stays in there with me and we wait. 

    I pace the room for hours until Holden places his hands on my shoulder and guides me to sit down and then hands me a bottle of water. I know that I need to relax, but it is very difficult for me. I have both my father and Jake out there fighting to keep me safe. I know they would always be there for me no matter what, but I just wish that I could be out there helping. 

    'Is there anything yet?' I ask Jake through our mind link.

    'They have gotten closer, but still haven't attacked. We are letting them get closer before we attack so that they can think that we don't plan on putting up a fight. I love you and I will come find you after this battle.' That's the last thing I get from him because then he close the link. I know it's so he can concentrate and make his way back to me. 

    After another couple hours there is still no word from anyone about anything that is happening. But that's when I hear yelling and smashing of things. Holden holds up his index finger to his lips and I just nod. There's someone in the basement with us, but we have no idea who, just that they aren't a part of our pack. I start to get worried thinking that Chase has found me. I concentrate on listening to whoever is talking.

    "I thought you said she would be here!" I can tell that it's Chase and so can Holden based on the look on his face.

    "She is I just don't know exactly where!" I hear Sally yell back at him. 

    I start to shake fearing that they are going to be able to smell us down here. I stand up and get into a fighting stance just in case they figure out where the hidden door is. Holden turns off the lights so that it can't be seen from the other side of the wall. We continue to wait. I try to mind link someone to tell them that Chase and Sally are down here, but no one answers me. 

    Soon the door opens and Holden attacks right away, but I wait. I can hear the struggle and then I see him walk in, I see Chase. I still don't attack because I'm hidden to where he can't see me, perks of me being so small. I watch him though. I can tell that he smells my scent in here even though it's a little bit different than last time because I have finished the marking and mating process. 

    'I know you're in here sweetheart. Come out, so I can see that beautiful, tight little body of yours.' I hear through the weird mind link that he is able to create with me. 

    Chase continues to look around trying to find me and that's when someone comes crashing in and tries to take Chase down. I can't tell if it's Holden or not, but I take this opportunity to try and run somewhere else. Unfortunately when I run, I run right into a rogues big chest and I'm just surrounded by the smell of death. I can see Holden laying on the ground across the room with a bad head injury, but I cant still hear him breathing. I start to fight this rogue when silver cuffs are slapped onto me. I yelp in pain knowing that I'm in trouble. I try again through the mind link to reach Jake or my father, but still nothing. I know that I'm in trouble now. Chase comes out of the room with the warrior that tackled him. I know him, but not very well. Chase has him by the neck and snaps in right in front of me.

    I scream at him. But then go quite as Chase is standing right in front of me. "Oh the things I'm going to do to this body." He whispers into my ear and then throws me over his shoulder. "Move out! We got what we came here for!" He yells at the other rogues in the room and they run to go spread the word.

    I'm then carried away from my home, my family, and my mate. I just hope that they are all okay and can come save me soon.
