Elder's Den

 Kade POV

“Wake up beautiful,” I said placing little butterfly kisses on her face “leave me alone let me sleep” Mila shouts as she pulls the covers over her face “Not this time, last night you told me to let you sleep so I did but now you have to get up and get dress so we can head out to go see the elders” I told her as I pull the blanket off of her “why are you soooo mean” she pouted which I laughed at, her whining voice sound like music to my ears, I missed her so much the last few days “get up if you want to eat breakfast” I told her as I walked out the room. 

I walked down the stairs and made my way to the dining area and looked around to see who else was here this morning until I heard Chad’s voice coming from the kitchen he was explaining to the kitchen staff about Mila and what kind of food she likes when she wakes up “She's also allergic to peanuts and this cooking oil has peanuts in it” Chad said holding up a can of cooking oil up in the air “Do you mind using a different one for today” he asked showing that he wasn't demanding anything but was just asking since he wasn't their Alpha “Actually from this day forward we will not use anything that has peanuts in it; we wouldn’t want your Luna to fall ill now would we” I said as I enter the kitchen “Of course not Alpha” the kitchen staff said “Good Morning everyone” I said as I pat Chad on the back “Thanks for taking care of this bro, I didn’t know she was allergic to peanuts” I said feeling bad that I haven’t had the time to really get to know my mate or my well what do I call Chad, I’m just going to call him my brother, with this connection we have it feels like we have known each other all our life “Don’t worry about it and you will get to know her more and more each day, It's different for me because I was raised with her” he shrugged his shoulders and looked around “I think were good here let's go eat, by the way where is our sleeping beauty” Chad askes as we walked out the kitchen and went back to the dinning area. 

The dining area had a thick wooden table in the shape of a rectangle in the middle of the room, it could fit 10 people easily but since wolves are bigger than humans it can fit about 6 to 7 people, around the table was other smaller round wooden tables that seat 4 people at a time. “Good Morning Luna” I heard as Mila walked into the dining area, she was wearing a simple orange and yellow sundress with her long red hair pulled into a messy bun and white sandals, she looked beautiful. “Good Morning loves” she said as she took a seat in a chair right in the middle of Chad and me. She leaned over and kissed me on the cheek and then leaned over to kissed Chad on his cheek “I’m starving” her eyes glade over the food that was being placed on our table.

Soon our table was filled with the high-ranking wolves and their mates. My beta Ramsey and his mate Michelle set across from the three of us and my gamma Mike and his mate Katherine set to the right of them. Everyone was waiting for me to start eating so that they can also start to eat “Michelle and Katherine this is my mate Mila and Chad my brother from another mother” I said with a small chuckle “Nice to meet you Luna and Chad” Michelle said with a nod and a big smile on her face “Yes, its really nice to meet you Luna and Chad” Katherine said as she rubbed her stomach, she was now 5 months pregnant and Mike couldn’t wait to meet his pup “Now can we eat Alpha I’m starving over here” Katherine softly growled which didn’t offend me, I know better than to make a pregnant she-wolf wait to eat. I picked up a piece of bacon and feed it to Mila giving everyone the sign that it was okay to start eating “Oh wow these blueberry muffins are to die for” Mila moan as ate the muffin “Can we get a few of these for the road” she looked over at me with her puppy dog eyes and a pout on her lips “Sure anything for you beautiful” I mind link the chef and asked him to prepare us some food for the road and a few blueberries muffin for the Luna. After breakfast, I gave a few orders to my beta and gamma informing them I was going to be gone for the rest of the day or maybe even until tomorrow.

Mila, Chad, and I climbed into my midnight blue Range Rover she is a beauty, I got her custom made last month for my18th birthday, the back doors were suicide doors I love how they open from the rear hinges instead of the front, my interior is dark blue leather with T.V’s in the headrest, my Rover is my first love and I’m super proactive of her. I smiled as I turned her on hearing the engine purr “That’s my girl” I utter out loud “Umm who you talking to” Mila asked with curiosity in her eyes while Chad laughs as I put the car in drive “He’s talking to his car babe” the sweet sounds of her giggles echo through the car "you love your car too, Chad and I love our babies as well. We drove in comfortable silence for about 20 minutes  “How far is the elder's den” Mila asked as she grabbed my phone looking for some music to play “It takes 4 hours so sit back and relax beautiful” a soft sigh escaped her lips “I guess this will be a long trip”.

After a long 4 hour drive, we finally made it to the Elder Den, it was in the middle of the forest with a cloaking spell on it, the only way in or out is with an Elder. I parked my baby and looked over at my love who was sleeping, she looked like a goddess with the sun shining down on her and her red hair glowing against the sunshine “Chad it's your turn to wake her up” I said as I open the car door and climbed out of my car and stretched my legs and arms. I can hear the small alarm going off letting the elders know someone has arrived. Watching Chad opening the passenger door I laughed at how caution he was, we both knew waking up our sleeping beauty wasn't going to make her happy, that woman loves her sleep. He bent over and kissed her lips softly I started to laugh at how was scared of our mates attitude but I understood why “Hey man you know I have to soften her up first” Chad said through our mind link “good luck bro” I said as observed the area it was peaceful, you can hear a waterfall about 3 miles out, birds flying in the sky, deer running around and a buzzing sound that sounded like bees “I guess the elders are one with nature” I thought to myself “Why are you waking me up leave me alone” the sound of Mila yelling at Chad brought me back from my thoughts “babe we are here at the Elders Den you have to wake up” Chad said as he kissed her lips again making an involuntary moan escaped her lips “You’re lucky that we are mates” she said pushing Chad softly out of her way and climbs out of the car.

“Hello, Alpha Kade” a deep voice from behind me said, I turned around to see one of the elders standing behind me “Hello Elder” I stated as Chad and Mila made their way over to us “Hello future Alpha Chad and Luna Mila” the Elder greeted them “I’m Elder Parks and we have been expecting you three, let's head inside” We followed behind him making our way through a forcefield that slightly stings as we went through “Ouch” Mila said, “you okay” Chad asked her “Yes I’m fine just wasn’t expecting that” she said while rubbing her arms to ease the pain. In front of us was a 3 story cabin house, with a garden full of different flowers, the colors of the garden remind me of the rainbow “Wow, that is so pretty” Mila said as she scanned the garden, her smile widens the farther we walk where she came to a stop at this beautiful waterfall “Elder Parks is this the blessed water from the Moon Goddess” she asks, it was ancient-looking, with rocks and stones shaped as 3 wolves, water flowed down from the waterfall over the statue of wolves into a small pool “Yes it is and those wolves are the blessed God’s and Goddess who will lead our kind into a new future” He said looking at us, my mind starting to wonder what he was talking about but I left it alone.

 Making our way past the waterfall and into the cabin, we were greeted by other elders that bowed to us “Why are they bowing” I asked, sure I’m an Alpha but their Elders they shouldn’t be bowing to us “You’ll understand once we explain what is going on but first let me get the Master Elder Patel” Elder parks walked away leaving us to explore our surrounding “I get the feeling something significant is about to happen” Mila said as she walked up to me and wrapped her arms around my waist, she placed her head on my chest and breaths in deep taking in my scent which I assume she needed to relax her nervous “Don’t worry whatever what ever it is we can handle it as long that the 3 of us stick together” I told her and then remember I forgot to inform them about me having a premonition, I don’t want them to find out by the elders “Oh yeah Chad come here for a second” I said and he came closer “I forgot to tell you guys something” Mila pulled away and glanced up at me “What happened” she asked “The day I took over the Dark Shadow Pack I had a premonition that he was going to attack that’s how I was able to beat him because I saw the attack coming, it never happen to me before” I said not really going into more details “Why are you just telling us” Chad said he sounded pissed off “I kind of been busy and we only just saw each other again yesterday” I snaped at him “We will talk about this later you guys the Elders are coming back” Mila said I can tell she was upset too, it's not like I was hiding anything from them I honestly forgot to tell them because of everything I was doing, combining two packs takes up a lot of time “I see you told them about your premonition” The master elder Patel said “Now that you three are finally here let us get started, come with me” Mila started to follow them and then Chad and I followed behind her “Please have a seat” Elder Parks said “Before you all start asking questions let me tell you a story” master elder Patel said as he took a seat behind a large desk. "I guess it's storytime now" with that thought it begins.
