The Initiation/Introduction

Mila POV

I walked into the house throwing my backpack down on Chad's bed, we been sharing a bed ever since we found out we were mates which is hard to believe it was only a few days ago.  I laid on the bed feeling the need to cry or scream. It’s only been 2 days but part of me was feeling restless, I felt torn in half and to make matters worse my damn wolf wouldn’t stop mopping around she was missing Kade too much and I don’t think I can take it anymore. Chad walked into the room “Hey babe you okay” I could feel the edge of the bed dip letting me know he was sitting at the foot of the bed, I sat up and looked at him, pouting my soft lips “ I want to go see Kade” the tone in my voice letting him know that it wasn’t a request but a demand “Either you take me to him or I will go by myself but I will not take No for an answer” I stood up and sat in Chad’s lap pressing my lips against his before he allows my soft tongue to enter his warm mouth, he let me take the lead as my tongue caressed against his before he pulled away “Oh you’re trying to seduce me into taking you” he smirked at me “I guess I can take you if you promise not to get in his way” he said poking the tip of my nose, I nodded my head with excitement “Yay” I said jumping up and putting my shoes back on “Let's go” Chad grabbed my hand our fingers entwining together as we walked outside, he opens the passenger door for me, kissed me on my forehead “you are going to be a handful, I’m happy I have Kade to help with you” he said before closing the door and making his way over to the driver side of the car. It took us 45 minutes to make it where the Dark Shadow pack used to be. After parking the car Chad got out and open my door for me, I smiled at him as I took his hand “How come I never knew you were such a gentleman” I asked as we walk up the pathway “I’m only one to you because you deserve it my beautiful goddess” my face became hot as blush creep up my cheeks, I tighten my grip around his hand “you are full of surprise love”. 

We walked a little more before coming across a crowd that was gathering in front of what I assume to be the packhouse, I can see Kade standing there giving a speech, I was so proud of him and how he handled everything, I started to feel jealous because the new pack members were welcome into his pack but me his mate he didn’t even introduce to them. I stood there watching Kade in his Alpha glory, proud and jealous two emotions that didn’t mix well causing my inside to feel unsteady. Chad wrapped me in his arms as he kissed my cheek “I can’t wait until my father pass the pack to me” He whispered in my ear “You will be an amazing Alpha and I will be right by your side” I said enjoying being in his embrace “And you will be by Kade side to when the time comes” Chad put his face in the nape of my neck breathing in my scent as we stood there watching Kade welcoming his new members.

Kade POV

It’s been two days since the last time I spoke to or seen Mila I know when I returned, she will be pissed I will definitely have to make this up to her. Taking a deep breath as I walked around my new pack territory, surprisingly the members of the Dark Shadow pack were happy that their old alpha was killed, after hearing the stories of what he used to put his pack members through I understood why, I was told that when a male wolf would find his mate he would break her in by forcing himself on the she wolve, he kept his mate locked up in the cell under the packhouse, and he would kill one member every few days just to install fear in them. I will be a better Alpha to them.

Once I receive my report from Omar, Kyle, Esteban, Katie, Elizabeth, and Olivia I was ready to move forward with the initiation of the remaining pack members. Again, I was shocked when I read the report no one seems to be of threat which pleased me because I really didn’t want to have to kill anyone but I would if I had to.

“Call a meeting I want everyone to meet me in front of the packhouse in 20 minutes” I mind link my beta, Ramsey. I already had everything ready for the initiation, my blood, rain from the night of a full moon which I keep in storage. I had my omegas working around the clock getting everything ready, there was a table with 300 wine glasses filled with rainwater and my blood.

 As every new wolf made their way to the front of the packhouse they all were instructed to discard a drop of their blood into the alphas cup before taking a cup for themselves.  

After 20 minutes I was standing on the make-shift stage looking at 300 wolves, I must admit I’m very much excited to be adding so many new wolves to my pack. “Welcome I am Alpha Kade Worthington, today marks the day of a new beginning for you all. I know you had a hard time under your last leadership, but I promise to keep you safe, secure, and protected, I will not keep you caged up, you can enjoy your life, find your mates, and have families. The Crescent Moon Pack is not just a pack we are a family who sticks together, take care of each other, respect each other and grow together.” You can hear the proud tone in my voice as I spoke. I reached over and grabbed my cup “I am going to tell you the oath I will pause when you are required to say your name, once you are done I will raise my hand understood” I asked as I looked over the crowd “Yes, Alpha” they all said at once “Great, now repeat after me I” I paused and everyone said their name “relinquish all bonds to the Dark Shadow Pack and I pledge my loyalty to Alpha Kade Worthington and I enter Crescent Moon Pack on my own recognizance, I have no ill intention turn the pack, I accept every member as my new family and will follow all rules that are required of me.” I held up my hand to let them know they were done.

“I Alpha Kade Worthington accepted you all as new family members of the Crescent Moon Pack, I promise as your Alpha to be fair and just, I promise to protect, secure, and put the pack's well-being first. Welcome to the Crescent Moon Pack” I lift my glass up in the air before drinking it and watch as my new 300 members drunk theirs too. I can feel the connection to each and every new member, the pressure I felt in my head was increasing by the second until the last member was connected to me,  my head started to hurt as they mind link “Thank You Alpha Worthington” I forced a smile and mind link them all “Please call me Alpha Kade and you’re welcome” I looked over to the right side and my heartbeat 3 times faster as I saw Mila and Chad standing there.

“I will be calling another meeting later on today just to go over a few things” I announce to the crowd before dismissing them.

I quickly got down from the stage trying to make my way over to them but I was stopped by a she-wolve who grabbed my hand turning me toward her “Alpha Kade do you have time to go to dinner with me tonight” She said pulling me closer to her, she must have been one of the new members because I don’t remember seeing her before, I still haven’t had the chance to meet everyone, before I knew it she was whispering in my ear “After dinner, you can have me for dessert” I can smell her arousal but soon it was overpowered by the wonderful strawberry cupcake scent I knew it was my mate and that she must be standing right behind me “Am I interrupting something” Mila yelled out, you can hear the anger and hurt in her voice. I pulled away from the girl’s grip turned around and looking at Mila, Chad was behind her holding her tight, her body slightly shivered as she tried to control herself. “Actually yes I was asking the Alpha out do you mind giving us a few minutes” the girl snapped “Oh she didn’t just say that” Mila said as she stepped out of Chad embrace she pulled me close to her and I finally snapped out of it feeling the sparks running through my body, oh Goddess I missed her, wrapping my arms around her waste I pulled her closer and kissed her, she was stubborn for a meeting before giving in and kissing me back, my tongue escaped into her mouth, the kiss became deeper and hotter as I moved my hand down her back to her butt, squeezing her butt she starting to giggle against into the kiss before pulling away “I missed you beautiful,” I said looking into her beautiful green eyes, my hand caress the side of her face “You have a funny way of showing it” she said and pushed me away “Beautiful don’t be like that” I said trying to pull her to me but she moved to the side where the girl whose name I still don’t know was standing looking at us “Listen umm what’s your name?” Mila asked her “Jessica” she said with her hand crossed over her chest “Well Jessica let me be the first to tell you this Alpha is off-limits, I’m his mate and before you go looking at the other hunk next to him, I’m also his mate so when you see these two again just remember they are already taken” Mila said pointing back to Chad and me. 

Now I was feeling bad because I should of already introduce Mila as my mate this should have never happened I thought to myself but my thoughts was interrupted by Jessica’s voice “If you are his mate then how come he hasn’t introduced you or how come no one has seen you here until today, to me he still as single as ever” Jessica said with a smirk on her face, Mila stepped closer to her and grabbed her by her neck squeezing it tighter by the second, Jessica clawed at her hand but Mila wasn’t even fazed by it “If I see you touch my mates I will rip your f*****g throat out” She tighten her grip on Jessica's neck, her claws extend out, puncturing Jessica’s neck, blood starting to drip down Mila’s hand, I knew Mila would have killed her, if I didn’t step in “Mila, put her down” I said in my Alpha voice but to my surprise it didn’t do anything “Mila put her down now” Chad said but still nothing, people was now starting to gather around us and within seconds almost half of the pack was there watching. Chad and I walked over to Mila both putting our hands on her shoulder “Okay, Mila she gets the point, you know we are yours no one can change that” I said softly as I look into her now gold eyes, we finally pulled her hands from around Jessica’s throat “Next time I will let her kill you if you disrespect her again” I shouted will wrapping my arms around Mila’s waist, Chad stud in front of her pulling her attention to him, her eyes slowly changed back to those beautiful green orbs “You okay babe” Chad ask before placing a kiss to her lips. I notice the strange looks we were getting I bet we looked like we have a threesome on a daily base I thought to myself as a soft chuckle escape my lips.  I guess I should introduce both Mila and Chad, explain what is going on to the best of our knowledge but declare that Mila will be the Luna of this pack and would be shown the same respect as me and the same thing for Chad. “Meeting Now in front of the Packhouse,” I said in my mind link to the entire pack “Come with me you two,” I said taking Mila’s hand in mines and Chad took her other hand in his as I walked us to the makeshift stage.

It didn’t take long before the entire pack was there, most of them new because the other part of my pack was on my original territory about 15 minutes away which only meant I will have to make this announcement twice. I step forward letting go of Mila’s hand and started to make my announcement.

“Welcome again, I will like to introduce you all to two very important people” I grabbed Mila’s hand and pull her forward “This is Mila the adopted daughter of the Alpha and Luna of the Eclipse Shadow Pack and she is my mate, she will be your Luna and you will show her the same respect as you are to show me, her word is law any disrespect and I mean any disrespect will be the end of you” I kissed Mila softly on her lips and whisper into her ear “I’m sorry I didn’t do this before” I kissed her on her cheek before turning back to the crowd “ This next part I am going to explain will be a little different, this guy right here” I said pointing to Chad who stepped forward “he is also Mila’s mate” the crowd starting talking and gasping, you can hear them saying stuff like impossible, she must be a witch, that has never happen in the history of mates and other crazy things “Quite” I snapped using my alpha voice “ I know what you are thinking but it’s not a lie and her other Mate name is Chad he is the future Alpha of the Eclipse Shadow Pack, let me explain more in detail, I turned 18th a month ago but I didn’t shift into my wolf, a few days ago Mila and Chad turned 18. I attendant their party, they didn’t shift at midnight like all other wolves do, around that time is when we both notice that Mila was our mate, once all three of us was standing next to each other, we shifted into our Wolves, Mila wolf is as big as our if not an inch smaller, we don’t know what this mean but once we get our answers from the elders we will know a lot more but no matter what Mila is my Mate and she will be respected and Chad is a future Alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack and like my brother he will be respected as well” I said trying to explain to them the the best way I can, there were so many hands in the crowd that was raised and I couldn’t ignore them so I pointed to one “ You have something you want to say” I said waiting for his response “Yes, Alpha Kade, I was at the party that night, I can remember watching you three and thinking this must be a new era, I saw how majestic all three of your wolves were, I can’t wait to find out more about your wolves and I’m honor to be part of a pack with two strong wolves leading us” he said before getting on his knees and bowing toward us, next thing I know everyone was on their knees bowing and mind linking me letting me know even if she is a witch they pledge their loyalty to their Luna.

“What are they saying?” Mila asked as she looked over the crowd that bowed to us “They said they will pledge their loyalty to you even if you were a witch” I smirked at her and she smiled wide, I swear I never get tired of seeing her smile. I dismissed them and we headed inside the packhouse “Since we are all together how about we go see the elders tomorrow” I asked Chad and Mila “you read my mind bro” Chad said as he sat down on the sofa “Okay, I’ll inform my beta and gamma that they will be in charged until I return” right on cue they both come walking inside “Kade you are such an asshole” Ramsey said with a small chuckle “ That’s Alpha asshole to you and why am I an asshole” Ramsey walked up to Mila who was standing next to me “You’re an asshole because you didn’t introduce our Luna to us first” Mike my gamma answered instead of Ramsey “ Well let me introduce you two now” I said pulling Mila into my arms “Beautiful this is Ramsey my beta and close friend and this is Mike my gamma and my cousin”

“Nice to meet the both of you,” she said extending her hand to shake theirs but Ramsey pulled her into a huge hug and Mike hugged her next “The pleasure is all our Luna, we are excited we finally have a Luna,” Mike said with a smile on his face “Awe, Thank you” her cheeks became red, I’m learning she easily blush “Now that crazy dude over there is my brother from another mother,” I told them as Chad stood up and walked over to us “Hey, I’m Chad nice to meet you guys” he said as they shake hands.

“Looks like our pack is keeping up with the weirdness when it comes to mates” Mike said “What do you mean” Mila ask as she looked at Mike curiously, he looked at me and I nod my head giving him permission to speak “Our pack has a mixture of Witches, Fairies, Wolves, Bear shapeshifter, wolves with special gifts, most of them enter the pack to join their mates” Mila eyes widen but unexpectedly a big grin spread across her lips, she looked over at Chad who nodded his head “ That’s so funny because our pack has a mixture of the same as well, my mother was a hybrid, she was a witch and fairy but she had my father turn her into wolf so that she would be able to carry me full term” Mila said as she smiled disappeared before she could continue “She was able to give birth to me before dying, my adoptive parents said that my father died while my mother was in labor, there was an attack by a neighboring pack, my father died fighting and my mother felt when he died, my adoptive mom was with her the entire time since they were best friends and she said my mother kept calling out my fathers name as she gave birth to me with tears running down her face and then she looked at me told me she loved me and she was sorry but she can’t live without him and she died, my pack always said that’s what happens when the mate bond is too strong” you can see the unshed tears in her eyes but she fought them back and put a fake smile on her face “I didn’t know you were a witch and fairy” I asked her looking at her into her beautiful eyes “I promise the Alpha, Luna and Chad I wouldn’t tell anyone because it puts me in danger” she shrugged and went to sit down “I’m tired, wake me up when it's dinner time” she closed her eyes as her head hit the cushion on the sofa “Don’t sleep on the couch you will be sore when you wake up” Chad walked over to her but she was already sleep. It amazes me how she can fall asleep anywhere and fast.
