"Teacher, it's too hot!" Alon exclaimed in pain.
He was currently in the middle of a sphere of flames, but he was still fine.
"I thought you were a complete novice but you are quite good at using law with your body." The man said while nodding his head in praise, "Looking back, you did a pretty decent job with infusing the sword with your law, considering that was your first time."
The more time he spent with Alon, the more impressed he was. It was just the first day, but he was still astonished by Alon's aptitude for law.
"Focus on consuming my flames through yours." The man said as he left.
"What is wrong with that guy?" Alon said while gritting his teeth but still carried on.
After two hours, a few burnt marks appeared on Alon's body. The flames that surrounded him were getting weaker; he would just evaporate into thin air if his flames went off.
He thought that the man would appear just as his flames went out; he did say Tess would be sad if he died.
His flames were getting weaker, more and more burns were appearing on his body.
His eyes were watering from the pain, but he still had to hold on. He had to wait till the man returned, he couldn't die.
But the man was nowhere to be seen.
Alon's flames were now all extinguished; his body was set on fire.
"Looks like, this kind of method won't work for this guy." The man appeared out of thin air and said calmly.
He swung his arm at his sphere of flames.
The flames did not die.
The man's expression hardened.
He began to frantically swing his hands trying to gain control of the flames, but he failed each time. He slowly walked up to the sphere and placed his hand on it, his hand began to burn.
"These are not my flames?" The man said with an astonished expression. His flames would never hurt him; these were no longer the flames he had conjured.
"What the hell is this guy's deal? Just what is going on?"
The color of the man's eyes changed, it was now a beautiful emerald. He calmly looked at the sphere, and within, all he could see was a heart.
At the center of the sphere, there was merely a heart? He shook his head in confusion and focused more intently. Along with the heart, there was a very vague outline of a person sitting cross-legged.

Among the flames, Alon felt liberated. His body was one with the flames. He had no form anymore.
'I am establishing the law at a rapid speed in this state. No, the flames are acknowledging me? I don't understand what is happening, but I won't get a chance such as this easily.' Alon thought to himself.
"Make the flames stronger" Alon shouted from within the sphere.
The flames began to change in color. From red, they were changing to orange. The temperature kept on increasing.
It was hard to see Alon's expression, well mainly because he did not have a form.
The temperature kept on increasing. There was now a white hue to the flames, and the temperature once again began to climb, but Alon still did not ask the man to stop.
The flames were now completely white.
*********************
The man was now getting worried. He could no longer see within the spare. He was inducing his own flames but yet he lost control of them when they entered the sphere.
The flames were maintaining themselves.
Now the man was growing curious, he wore a thrilled expression on his face. He wanted to know how much more Alon could take.
"I'm going all out." The man shouted in joy, he was having fun. He did not wait for a reply.
His whole body started to glow in a golden aura. The ground he was standing on caved in, he was now floating midair.
The white sphere of flames was now being corrupted by a golden hue. The mass of the whole thing was increasing. The energy in the sphere was getting more and more compressed.
"HAHAHAHA" The man began to laugh frantically while inducing more and more of his golden flames.
The sphere was now golden to the extreme. The man had gone all out. No, he was now pushing himself to the very limits.
He felt his Law evolving a step further.
He was ecstatic. Who would have thought he would have such a harvest while training someone.
His flames were getting stronger, he had forgotten all about Alon by now. He was too consumed by his advancement, that he forgot to take Alon's safety into account.
The flames were getting more and more violent.
The man was consumed in his enlightenment. But before he could finish his celebration, a chill ran down his spine.
In the middle of the huge golden sphere of flames, there was now a black dot.
It was growing.
His strongest, hottest flames, which had just gotten even more violent, were being consumed.
The black dot was eating and growing off of his flames.
After merely a few breaths, the sphere was completely dyed black.
But then it began to shrink.
It grew smaller and smaller and Alon's figure was revealed.
He was floating in the air with his hand extending towards the black sphere of 'something'. His body was as good as new, with not even a scratch on it.
Alon now had a fist-sized sphere on the top of his palm.
The sphere no longer had any properties; it was just like a big black spot on a painting.
Alon looked at the man who had never revealed his name and had asked himself to just be addressed as 'teacher'.
The man was now covered in sweat. He had encountered many different kinds of law, but the darkness in front of him was unlike any Law.
"You have done something unforgivable. But for the sake of the child, I'll let it go this once, now scram." Alon said while looking at the man with indifferent and emotionless eyes, but there was a trace of suppressed anger in them.
The aloof man before could no longer be seen.
He turned around and began to run, on his feet.
At that moment he did not think of using his laws to escape.
He just wanted to escape.
He didn't care if he looked foolish, no matter how many times he fell; he would get up immediately and continue running.
The sight was quite touching actually.
Seeing the man's escape Alon giggled a little. but soon sighed.
"You got quite greedy this time," Alon said to himself?
