He blazed through the woods, Celendria held on as tight as she could. Fuck...I didn't think her holding me would be such a problem but the way her fingers curl into me...Gods... Silas, contented that no one cared follow slowed his pace to a saunter. Celendria hopped from his form and steadied herself on the ground. She looked around for a moment, realizing if she were to escape this would be the moment. She looked up at Silas, meeting his ebony gaze. She felt so drawn to him, She was the moth. He was a roaring blaze. She broke away from her tunneled vision, looking at her bare feet. She was conflicted. "Stay here, I'm going to get us some water, there's a small stream up that hill. I will be right back." He wasn't one hundred percent sure she would listen but he had to settle himself before carrying her the rest of the way. His wolf was desperate for something more that a caress or an embrace. Silas could feel him clawing at his ribcage. He begrudgingly turned from Celendria and walked up the hill. As he disappeared into the woods. Celendria stayed put staring down at her feet. She decided she wouldn't wait to discover what these new emotions were. She had ....a kind... of family back home, and they had to be worrying for her. She turned southward and let her feet carry her. The wind whipped through her verdant hair and Silas's shirt snagged on branches as her feet carried her farther and farther away. His scent faded from her senses. She inhaled deeply almost craving the scent of the woodland but instead was struck with a sharp pain reverberating through her abdomen that stopped her dead in her tracks. Her hand instinctually clutched her stomach. She opened her palm to look, but no lacerations were present. What the Hell's was that? She steadied herself and shook off the pain to the best of her ability. She could hear branches breaking in the distance behind her, he was gaining. She let her feet lead her once again but the pain was too much, she located a tall oak tree and climbed her way up. She tucked herself away into the towering timber. She could see everything below, but nothing could see her. ----------------------+---------------------- Silas cursed himself for thinking she would stay. She has to be able to feel something...I can hardly breath around her without some kind of sensation washing over me. Maybe I scare her. STUPID...of course I scare her, I took her from her home. She has no idea who I am, I'm still nothing but a stranger to her. "Gods... she's fast." Defeated he rests, laying his hands on his knees breathing deeply. Once he regained his composure, he surveys the woods around him. He inhales deeply, her scent is still present, it isn't fading anymore. "Little one...please, trust me, these woods are dangerous. I will keep you safe. I have no interest in causing you harm." He continues painting the landscape with his eyes, trying to let his senses lead him to her. He follows her scent to a massive oak tree. "There's no f*****g way... He looks up to see her tucked strategically within the trees shelter. How the hell's am I supposed to get her down from there? He observes the branches leading up to her, he reaches out for the first limb and pulls himself upward. The higher he climbs the more the limbs of tree clearly display distress beneath his weight. He stops knowing if he moved any higher he would fall. "LITTLE ONE, DOWN HERE NOW!" He growled. His wolf was raging once again, but he couldn't hold him in this time. His wolf form broke threw his flesh and his fiery eyes landed directly on Celendria. She met the wolves gaze, It almost beckoned her closer. She fought her urges and stayed put. She would wait him out if she had to. The wolf began jumping from the limb it housed and clawing at the fabric of the shirt hanging over the branch she was perched on. She closed her eyes and trembled as the tips of his claws ripped through the hemline of the shirt. After about 15 minutes of it's terrifying lunges towards her. It retreated to it's tree limb. She opened her eyes and peered down as a whimper left the wolfs muzzle. She waited till the sky grew dark. She looked down seeing no sign of the wolf below her. Maybe he gave up on her... She delicately and silently slipped her way back down the tree to the ground. As her feet met the soil she sighed in relief. She lifted her feet to walk out of the woods but the pain overtook her once more. This time it doubled her over, as she landed to her knees wincing in pain. Tears poured from her eyes as she clutched her stomach retreating fully to the ground below her. It burned, the sensation was was ripping her apart. She could feel consciousness slipping from her, until a pair of strong warm arms lifted her from the ground. ---------------------+----------------------- As Silas wedged her against his bare chest her tight form relaxed against him. It brought an indistinguishable smile to his face. The darkness held the secret of his relief in finding her, perfectly. She was asleep in his hold. He could tell she was in pain, the bond was effecting her as well. He carried her lax body all the way to a secluded mansion buried deep within the woods. The estate bustled with life, illuminated by numerous torches. "Alpha Fyre, we hadn't expected a visit for quite some time yet." The woman spoke while Silas entered the estate. She noticed the woman asleep in his arms and smiled. "I will quickly see to it that you and your friend receive proper accommodations." She scurried off into the listless hallways. Silas knew they wouldn't be bothered here. This placed mainly consisted of gammas and below, all of his higher ranked were stationed in the village to patrol borders. He made his way through the maze of halls, the occasional eyes glancing at him and bowing in respect. He shoved his bedroom door open with his side. The maid from earlier shuffled out. "Everything is ready, Alpha. Call if you need anything." She bowed her head maintaining her overly exuberant smile and then took off in search of her next tasks. He delicately laid Celendria on the massive bed centralized in the room against the back wall. "What am I going to do with you?" his voice was calm but riddled with confusion. Celendria woke up swallowed by the silk and cotton. She looked up to see Silas changing his clothes into clean night ware to the right of where she was laying. "Moon Goddess please show me how to tell her she's my mate. She has no clue of how our world works." She quietly listened and digested. Mate ... She remembered the concept from stories told in her youth. Every werewolf had one, a fated partner in all aspects of life. Is that why he kidnapped me, am I his Mate?
