The safe house was only a five-minute drive from town. It was a small property on a busy road standing almost adjacent to the school. They were small houses, tightly packed together with almost non-existent front yards. Maya watched the pedestrians, the bustle of parents walking their children down the street towards the large gates. For a safe house, the street was busier than she expected.
