Raiden had known he was in trouble even before the cars, which had been following him since he'd circled back to check on Maya's house, had boxed him in. He had known he was in trouble from the moment Lewis had messaged him, telling him there was a car waiting outside his flat. It had taken all of a few seconds to erase his communication data and purge his contact, and factory reset his phone. It was a single button press, to be initiated if he was ever apprehended by the Blue Coats or a rival clan. As a fourth car screeched to a halt in front of him, he whispered a silent thank you.
