The Breathtaking man

717 Words
The professor announced that we had a transfer student from Jordan Washington. He saunters into the room. His emerald green eyes found me almost immediately. His eyes remind me of the woman in my dream, my heart flutters in my chest. His chiseled jaw clenches and unclenches, clearly uncomfortable with the professors' need to make introductions. I'll admit I didn't hear any of it as soon as his eyes locked on mine. The professor's hand waved in front of the man's face," Mr. Moonstone, won't you find a seat so we can proceed with today's lecture?" Mr. Moonstone gives a curt nod and is moving in my direction. I busy myself with my computer, attempting to calm the growing butterflies in my stomach. "Is this seat taken?" His silky voice breaks my concentration. My breath hitches in my throat, so I simply shake my head. He sits." Many thanks. I'm Kristian, who, may I inquire, are you?" His eyes searched mine like they might spill the answer. I shift and look down. "I am Brielle Hansen. It's a pleasure, Mr. Moonstone." I half smiled and refocused on the lecture. In an instant, he's close, too close. I can feel the heat of his breath on my neck when he says," Kristian please, Mr. Moonstone was my father." My skin feels like I just grabbed a live wire in the most delicious way. "Kristian," I said breathlessly. A low rumble sounds in his chest and my heart skips a beat. I felt his eyes on me for the remainder of the class. As the class draws to an end, I start packing up my computer and such. I stood up to leave when his voice chimed in from behind me, "Do I make you nervous little wolf?" I spun on my heels," What did you just call me?" I realized how harsh that sounded but the slapped look he had on his face. He gathers himself enough to stammer out, "I'm sorry… your scent… I just thought." He trails off. I studied him for a minute before exhaling and blurting out," Will you come home with me?" A bemused look crosses his face," Why miss Hansen, we've only just met." He winks at me. I rolled my eyes and tried to move passed the heat crawling up my chest," Nothing like that. I have a feeling you might be able to help me." He bows deeply to me. " Anything you desire, little wolf. Lead the way." He motions for me to pass him. My shoulder grazes his sculpted chest as I pass. I feel as though my heart will beat straight from my chest. I take a deep breath adn we head towards the parking lot. He stayed behind me until we were through the swarm of people shuffling off to their dorms or last classes of the day. Once we were outside, he matched my pace and walked next to me. He cleared his throat," So what do you require from me, Little Wolf?" "First off, what is the little wolf thing? What did you mean when you muttered about my scent?" I hit the F.O.B in my hand and my red Chevy Silverado beeped. I gear my direction towards it. He's quiet for a minute and then," Um, before we get into all that. Why don't we start with the question burning itself into your aura." That right there was the confirmation I needed that maybe just maybe Kristian would lead me to some answers. I spent the ride to my house explaining my dream in vivid detail. The length it's been going on and what happens to my body in the morning. The whole time, he's quiet and contemplative. We get to my house and go inside," Would you like some...." My words are halted when Kristian places his fingertips on my temples and closes his eyes. This fuzzy feeling washes over me, flipping my stomach. I pulled away," What exactly are you doing?" He looks at me with confusion and concern, etching his face," What the f**k did they do to you?" He runs his fingers through his hair before he cups my face," Brielle, I promise to help you find answers for everything. For now, I must go." With that, he's gone.
