26 Kira padded down the hallway on bare feet. Her footsteps made no sound on the plush carpet lining the stone floor. She carried a pair of Laura Stirling’s high heels in one hand and her crystal encrusted black clutch in the other. Kira didn’t like walking in heels to begin with.
