The Expressions Of Love

Hello my dear friends! I have a story to tell. Not my story but someone whom I known for so long. I'm at my house that time when she came. It's been a while that we saw each other. We decided to cooked some snacks and then she said that something happened to her and I ask her what is it. Then she started to speak, "last June 26 was my first dose of covid vaccine. On that day, I didn't expect that my ever first love in my high school days was also there. It was unexpected because we didn't see each other since we graduated high school. It's been 10 years that we saw each other again." While listening to her, I can see that she is happy. She continued, "To make the long story short, we didn't have a relationship. I was the only one who is madly and deeply in love with him when we are in high school because he is the one whom I felt the so called "Love at first sight", but I knew that he was aware that I have a crush on him. Back on the days, he was always ignoring me but sometimes I see him looking at me then he literally look away to the other side. Four years of being in love with him but no relationship at all. Just me who I fell in love with him. Just a one sided love. But after 10 years, we saw each other again, but I think the love was gone, only the likeness of him is still there. That day, I saw him looking at me but I think he's just checking on me. Or just, we only had a curious feelings of what we are doing that time." I don't know what to feel but ten years was a very long time that destiny didn't work their love story. But who knows they might be soulmate. Then she asked me, "what do you think?". I asked her back, "in your story or what will happen next?". She answered, "both". I replied, "well I think what happened just happened and nobody knows what will happen". She just nodded and agreed to what I've said. I saw her unemotional face. I asked her again, "do you still waiting for him? Or do you still assume that you will see each other again? She looked at me with her emotionless face and said, "No." Then the dead air came.
