Chapter:14(Shifting into my own kind)

Delian's POV

It's still so shocking to me that I found Lily. I am very happy to be related to her.

When I first saw her I was amazed by her beauty.

~Flashback starts ~

I was busy in my office when one of my head of servant knocked to my foot.

As usual, I replied with 'Come in' and he entered the room.

"Greetings your highness," he said with a bow.

"You may rise Ronald," I replied.

He rose and began to tell me that someone trespassed our kingdom.

I stood up angry about the fact that someone trespassed our lands and our guards didn't realise that.

Ronald could tell me because he is a werewolf. Certainly we have werewolves in our kingdom, but they aren't allowed to leave from here without my orders.

I stood up to catch that whatsoever and put him/her in to the dungeons.

To trespass in my area is a huge crime and the penalty is death. I wore my black leather coat and began to fly with my best warriors.

We had wings underneath our skins. What humans know about us are all true except the fact that we are cruel. We aren't ruthless at all and our main speciality is to live with harmony. Our land has all types of species from humans to witches. The humans that are living outside of my kingdom are afraid of us.

We reached the location and saw that it was my secret cave. I used to come here whenever I felt sad and no one ever knew of this place. We entered inside to see a very beautiful snow white wolf sleeping peacefully. If looked weak as if it didn't eat anything. I went near it but it didn't wake up. I touched it and it started to wake up only to fall sleep again. I heard the sound of bone cracking and saw that it began to shift in its human form. It shifted into a beautiful woman! I was mesmerised by her beauty. Soon I became aware that she didn't wear anything. I took off my coat and wrapped it around her. I carried her in bridal style.

As soon as I stared to walk one of my soldiers asked, "Your majesty, why are you carrying her? Shouldn't we capture her and take her to the cells."

I angrily replied, "Can't you see that she is harmless? She can't even wake up and you are thinking about to put her in the cellar! This isn't how my kingdom should be rather we should help her!"

He quietened and nodded in agreement. I didn't punish him for questioning me, I knew that he was trying to protect his motherland.

I took her to my kingdom. All eyes were on me. I knew why they were staring at me ,but it pissed me off and I yelled, "Don't you people have any work to do?"

Everyone scurried away seeing their King angry.

I saw Della approaching me.

"Delian, what happed to her? Why does she look so miserable?" Della asked with tears on her eyes.

I didn't expect my girlfriend to worry about this unknown female. I thought that she would scream at me. I remembered that she trusted me fully and I was relieved that my soon to be Queen to be so caring.

"I found her in the cave and she was trembling. So, I thought that I should help her."

"It's good that you brought her here. She seems very sick and we should call the royal doctor Immediately," Della said worried about her(unknown wolf's)health.

I took her to one of the guest rooms followed by a worried Della.

Soon after putting her to the bed the royal doctor came. He began to examine her.

I must say she is really beautiful. She had golden hair below her shoulders and stopping at her thighs. She had pale white skin like snow and beautiful long lashes. Her lips were plump with a red tint on them.

I seemed to have a pull to this unknown she-wolf ,but couldn't figure out why.

I thought of proposing Della .I really loved her and all women were nothing compared to my girl.

I asked the doctor, "Is there something wrong with her? "

"She is really weak. I think she had an operation not so long ago. Some of her wounds were infected but she is fine now. I cleaned her infected wounds and she needs rest now," the doctor explained.

After he left ,I was Della with teary eyes. I wiped off a tear rolling down her cheek.

I sighed and thought why would this woman run away.

~Flashback ends ~

Now she is my cousin. I am happy though everything just changed here. I was willing to give up the kingdom to her. I wanted her to rule but she refused. When I heard that she was almost ra**d and abused, I got furious. What she went through is beyond my expectation, I never thought that she would pure Lucan.

The last pure Lucan, Queen Atlena was my great-grandfathers friend. We were no threat to other realms, but some of the traitors of my land spread rumours about being ruthless. This rumours are thousands of years ago, yet they are still believed.

People of my realm loved me as their king. They offered their utmost respect to me. All around the states I was known as the kindest ruler that ever lived.

We were in the living room when I heard a loud howl across the room. I knew where that sound came from.

Lily is in danger! I rushed with everyone with me towards her room. She howled again in a weird way. I felt something change in her. I saw that her fur changed from white to white and golden colour. I looked at her eyes and saw that, the beautiful baby blue orbs were gone replacing with red orbs. There were thin golden rings around her pupil. She looked even more wonderful now.

I tried to walk to her but she growled at me. By the growl she indicated me to stay at my place. It felt like she had a sudden urge to kill someone.

She calmed down after a while which seemed like years to me.

She got closer to not even realising her own movement. She ushered me to pat her head by bowing her head to my hand. I patted her gently afraid of hurting her and making the situation worse. She rubbed against my hand with her head. Soon, Della joined with me patting her on her back.

"You have such beautiful golden and white fur," Della said in awe.

"I only have white fur," she said in confusion.

"What? No, you have golden and white fur," I said. "You don't believe me? Guards bring a mirror for Lily."

When she saw herself I saw that she was not only shocked but also confused. I understand her situation, a lot happened to her in a few days.

She was getting up. I was going to ask her where she was going before Della asked my question to her.

She said that she needed to go to the washroom to shift . I knew that wasn't the only reason. The other reason was she couldn't comprehend what was going on with her life.

I went to my office when I got call from the council members. I earlier told them about Lily . They said that she needed to do the vampire ritual to confirm about her identity. We were in a deep discussion when Lily knocked on the door.

After introducing her to everyone I saw that she wore a face that said 'we got to talk' and I knew I should have told her beforehand.

Hello my butterflies! How are you all? I know I am very lazy at updating but this isn't the case.

I also saw that many of my readers were confused about why I created a werewolf story with not following the other renowned writers. I wanted to add something different to my book as I believe in creativity. I wanted to add a new realm of Lucan Perovera wolves in which they are more strong than that of the Alphas.

I hope you enjoyed the book with my new sense of humour and style.
