Chapter:13(Confusion)

Lily's POV

Life is like unpredictable. It's absolutely true because I am a living example of it.

I never thought that I would reject that person who was supposed to love me for my entire life. He was supposed to be my other half.

Another shocking fact is that ,I a Lucan has vampire blood in me. But how can this be possible?

"It can be possible because every pure Lucan has a different blood line in them," Mayra replied breaking through the wall inside my mind that I had created for privacy.

"Did other pure Lucans had the blood of a vampire?" I asked curiously ignoring the fact that she read my thoughts without letting me know.

"As a matter of fact, the answer is no. Pure Lucans have different types of bloods. For example: Lucan Atlena who had the blood of a fairy and a Lucan Prince," Mayra replied.

Atlena was one of the most powerful Lucans in the world. She died hundreds of years ago. She had the power to control minds of people.

"Did you know everything of our fate from the beginning?" I asked with anger boiling inside of me.

"Yes, I knew you were a pure Lucan. But I didn't know our fate, because fate is in the hand of Almighty," Mayra shrugged.

"Why didn't you tell me I was a pure Lucan from the beginning?" I asked feeling betrayed.

Mayra knew everything from the beginning, she could have told me my true identity before getting attacked. Did my parents know this too? How could they not tell me something so important that was related to my life!

"I wanted to tell you, but you had to know your full abilities. If others knew about our identity, they could have killed us," Mayra reasoned.

"But my life was still in danger even if they didn't know who truly I was! I was getting beaten to death when you told me about being a pure LUCAN!" I screamed at her.

I didn't only feel betrayed instead I was outraged. Something in me changed more powerful. I felt a strong sense of power rushing through my body. I growled loudly which made Mayra whimper in my mind. I tried to calm myself, but it didn't work.

I shifted into my wolf even though I didn't wish to. I led out a loud howl which I think can even be heard to my pack house. I saw Delian and others rushing through the door of me. I indicated them to stop as I can do anything now. I can also kill someone out of my rage.

I calmed down after an hour of Mayra soothing me.

Delian said worriedly, "Are you okay?"

I nodded. He started to walk slowly towards me. I put my head for him to pat. He smiled patting my head. Della came beside him and she leveled up to me touching my back. I purred at them and Della broke out a wide smile.

"You have such beautiful golden and white fur," Della said in awe.

"I only have white fur," I said being confused.

"What? No, you have golden and white fur," Delian said. "You don't believe me? Guards bring a mirror for Lily."

One of the guards brought a mirror for me. I was shocked to see myself with golden fur on my back and paws. I had white fur on my head, stomach and tail. I saw that my eyes were red in color. I was fascinated to see my new look.

"Why do I look like this?" I mind-linked Mayra.

She excitedly said, "You look like this cause you have fully captured your abilities. The most important part is this that you have fully accessed to your vampire blood line which means you are now officially a royal vampire and that is the reason you have red eyes."

"But will I be like them and no more be a werewolf?" I sadly asked her.

"No, you will always be a Lucan. You only have vampire blood, but that doesn't change anything. Now you are stronger than ever. In fact, you are the first ever pure Lucan with a vampire blood line," Mayra explained.

Everything was so confusing. Within one month my whole life turned upside down. I…..don't understand what the HELL is going on! I realized that I didn't shift into my human form. I got up to go inside the washroom when, Della asked me, "Lily, where are you going?"

"I need to shift myself. So, I am going to the washroom," I replied.

She nodded in knowing that I need sometime alone. She ushered everyone to leave me alone.

I shifted into my human form. I looked into the vanity mirror and saw that I had red eyes with white hair. My eyes had thin golden rings over my red orbs.

I took a long shower and tried to process all the information in my head.

After my shower I wore a green baggy shirt with white sweatpants. I got down the stairs and made my way to Delian's office. Yes, I was roaming into the palace for two hours until a maid showed me the way to Delian's office. Before I entered the room, I saw that Delian and Della were in serious conversation with a man in this late 50s. I gently knocked grabbing the attention of everyone inside the room. There were more than 20 people and I guess they were having an important meeting.

"Everyone this is Lily. The person who I was talking about," Delian said.

"Lily, these are all the council members of the kingdom. We were discussing about your position in the royal court. Earlier we were supposed to do the vampire ritual to find out the truth. No offence I trust you but it was obligatory to find out about you. Now that is no more needed as you proved all of us that you are one of us. You have the red eyes which runs only in royal vampire blood line," he said.

I nodded as I knew about the ritual he was talking about. We need to have a long talk now, because I need to clear out my doubts.
