Hayden POV The vampires emerged through the tree line. One of them had a bloodied and beaten woman thrown over their shoulder, the smell of blood and fear mixed with Jasmine and spearmint. He dropped his cargo on the floor, a brown bag over her head, blood covering her torn dress that looked more like rags, and her hands and feet tied with rope.
