I tried to keep my eyes open, but knowing Amelia was safe and having her so close to me, I lost the battle. My dreams still torment me, though. I see her beneath Randall, her blood dripping from his face. She turns to face me and I see the pain in her eyes. I run toward her, but I never reach her. I drop down to the floor as she slips through my fingers like sand. Vanishing in a puff of smoke. I’m transported to the waterfall in the pack territory. Amelia is in front of me. I feel the tingles run up my arm as she places her hand on my bicep and pulls me down to her waiting lips.
