“I know who the Rogue Alpha is?” I repeat what Ember had just told me.
She nods her head in answer. Logan walks across the room, sitting beside her. He reaches out and takes her hand.
“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you, Logan. We had such a great night, and I didn’t want him to ruin it.” Ember’s voice trembled.
“I don’t care about that, I just need to know you're ok?” She smiled and nodded her head.
She leaned toward Logan and rested her head against his arm. His smile filled his face. You could see the twinkle in his eye.
