The Obsession of Love

In front of the Marriage Bureau Violet Reynold walks out of the Marriage Bureau holding a paper. She stared at the paper from time to time, she couldn't believe that she just registered her marriage with a stranger. She stole a glance at the cold man who was walking beside her. His gaze was cold and his face was stoic, it showed no hint of warmth. Her heart skipped a beat staring at his handsomely structured face. She was overwhelmed by the feeling she got staring at the man who was once a stranger but now her husband. She couldn't believe that such things do happen in real life, she had always seen it in the movie. A man approached them and whispered in his ear, the man stopped abruptly and turned to the people behind him. "Take her home," he instructed and walked away to his car. Violet was stunned, she couldn't believe that she would be going alone to her new home. She was expecting that her newly wedded husband would be there to escort her to her new home. She hid her disappointment and got into the car. The car drove off after, and Violet stood outside from the window. She couldn't help but think of the man she married, she knew nothing about him, yet she decided to marry him. Even though it wasn't completely her will, she was threatened and brainwashed into marrying him. The event that led to the marriage reencountered in her head. Flashback. Violet appeared at the entrance of the most popular hotel in Los Angeles, a party was to be held there. She was there to have fun and see how the wealthy live their life. She entered the hotel with Enthusiasm, the first step she took into the hall where the party was ongoing, she felt her jaw-dropping. She could see different kinds of food and there were a lot of business tycoons and their beautiful wives with them. She shook her head and thanked her luck for seeing the invite in front of her house. She was coming back from somewhere, the day she saw the invite. A waiter passed in front of her, she stopped him and took a drink from him. She gulped it down at once, she walked to a seat in the center, and sat down. She didn't care about who could be watching her, she just wanted to live her life to the fullest. She knew that such an opportunity wouldn't come anytime soon. While she was taking in all sorts of drinks and wine, two men in the corner had their gaze on her. They had been staring at her from the moment she sat in the corner, Violet had a perfect physique, so it attracted her to the men. One of the men approached her, he wanted to strike up a conversation with her, but he had another intention. He tapped her on the shoulder, Violet turned to him only to be met with a charming smile. The man reveals some of his teeth, "Hey beauty!" Violet was stunned, she didn't know she would get someone's attention so quickly. She flashed him a smile also, and her little cute dimple was revealed, "Hey!" she was so excited. "Would you mind if I have a drink with you?" He asked gentlemanly. Violet shook her head and quickly handed him a drink, the man introduced himself and told her some believable lie. He looked okay and the description he gave about himself matched perfectly with his behaviour and temperament. The man excused himself and left, after he left Violet felt lonely so she got back to drinking. The music played after that, Violet stood up with her drink in hand and started dancing to the music. She stopped all of a sudden, she was feeling dizzy and uncomfortable. She suddenly feels pressed, she tries to act calm and not look weird to others. She dropped the drink and stumbled away from the party. She was looking for the bathroom, and in her attempt to do so, she met a waiter on the waiter. She asked for the directions before she rushed there with her shaky leg. She knew that she was drunk which made her curious, but she wasn't clear-headed at that moment. She kicked the bedroom door open and rushed into the bathroom. She locked the door and released herself, she tried to get herself sober. She splashed water on herself to keep herself awake, she had to go home by herself since she brought nobody with her. She sighed and shook herself, she stayed in the bathroom for a while before going out. She was able to keep herself awoken because she was able to get some of the alcohol out of her. She walked out of the bathroom to go home afterward. She was about to open the door that would lead her out of the bedroom, but she felt a hand pulling her back. The light was not turned on so she couldn't see. She tried to hold something so that she would not fall but she couldn't hold onto anything. She yelled and tried to break free from the tight hold, the man pulled her closer to himself. Violet was held against his chest, she could feel how masculine he was, it was clear that he was trying to fight a battle within himself but she was not helping. Violet was wriggling in his hold which was making the situation worse. Before Violet could think of a solution to the problem, she heard a soft voice that mumbled against her ear. "Please." She lost her whole sense of reasoning and she couldn't fight anymore. She could feel herself submitting to the will of the man, she couldn't think of anything to do at that moment. She noticed that with the way the man was acting, he wasn't acting on himself. Before she could think of anything else, she was pushed onto the bed, and the unthinkable happened
