**Osiris Corp underground facility**

Dr Glass flicked the light switch in the lab, dimming the lights. He walked to were Alexa was sitting. she was fully dressed in a skinny jean, a v-neck top and a leather jacket, all black. Her silver coloured hair was tied up in a bun. She looked relaxed. He sat in front of her, crossing his legs, he cleared his throat “Do you know where you are?" He asked

She mimicked him, crossing her legs as well “Osiris corporation" she smiled. He wrote something down and looked back at her

“who are you?" He asked

“I think the Dr with the glasses, was checking me out earlier" she said squinting her eyes, looking at the direction of the window as if someone was there

“Focus Alexa!" He said snapping his fingers in front of her face. She shifted her attention back to him

“Fine, you are no fun." She said rolling her eyes “ I am Alexa Ross, an agent of Osiris corporation" she answered. He nodded while jotting on his book

“What is your purpose?" He asked folding his arms.

“Serving Osiris corporation" said Alexa crossing her arms. He looked at the lie detector machine.

“Stop mirroring my movements." He said. She rolled her eyes “And what is your mission?"

“To bring in the travellers" she replied. He looked at the lie detector machine again and nodded, satisfied with the work he has done. He stood and walked to where the light switch was and flicked it back to normal. He closed his note, putting his pen in his breast pocket, he turned facing her “Go meet David, he's will brief you on your cover story and then get ready. we'll leave soon!" he instructed. They both walked out of the lab and into the hallway.

“Hi General, always on your uniform, one might think you don't have any other clothes," she teased walking past the general who was standing close to the lab's window and has been observing the whole show. The General turned to Dr Glass

“What is all that?" the General asked confused about her change in personality

“All what?" Dr Glass asked, oblivious of what he meant

“All her merry quips and jolliness?" He asked

“Undergoing the final stage of project somnus, triggers the initial personality of the subject, so although we created her anew and gave her a new identity, so to speak, her natural personality remains intact" Dr Glass explained

“And it won't affect her or trigger any memory?" The General asked

“Nope, project somnus ...causes a permanent change that can't be reversed and so I'll say it's perfectly safe. As you know, her blue eyes were covered with contact lenses that is literally unnoticeable. It can't wear out, fall off or get damaged. The best part is, it doesn't need to be removed and this was put on her before she regained consciousness and so she has no idea whatsoever that she originally had blue eyes. There's nothing to worry about." Dr Glass explained

“Good. So what's next?" He asked

“I'm taking her to Greenville, to bring in the travellers. No offense, your guys are working slow and it would be the perfect way to test her on the field. Your guys could need the assist since we don't know how many of them are really out there. I'll supervise her myself" Dr Glass said

“Do what you need to do...and fast! the men ontop need results" he replied.

**ARCTURUS**

Eight members of the council comprising of four females and three males, sat around the big circular table in the meeting room. The room was large and empty, aside from the table, chairs and a big screen mounted on the wall, that shows the map of the nine divisions. This was where the meetings of the council took place and where the decisions pertaining the divisions and welfare of the people were decided. The council members quarrelled loudly, as they were displeased about the fact that they had been called to the meeting by the queen but hasn't seen anyone for hours. “Where is the Queen?" One of the members shouted at the two soldiers standing at the door but no response was received from them.

”Hey! Didn't he just asked the both of you a question?" Another member said angrily but still no response.

The door sprung open and the last male council member rushed in “Sorry I'm late" he said taking his seat “Why hasn't the meeting started yet" he asked surprised.

“Sir, they are all here" one of the soldier said through his comms “Okay sir" he added, removing his finger from the comms, he turned to the other soldier and nodded. They both brought out their guns and pointed towards the council members “The commander said farewell" he shouted

“The commander?! I thought the queen called the meeting" one of the member said with a shaky voice.

“The queen is dead and so are you" the soldier said as they both pulled their triggers, killing all the council members.

**EARTH**

Tyrone and Drew pulled up at the house and got out of the car. They looked at the house, it was quite big and beautiful, painted white with a blue door and a picket fence surrounding the house, the lawn was neatly trimmed. They walked to the door, all the lights in the house seemed to be on. Tyrone pushed the doorbell button. After a few seconds the door was opened and they were greeted by the loud music playing and Anna, she was wearing a black bum short and a black hoodie. She was holding a cup filled with drinks to the middle. “Hey! You guys came, come on in!" she shouted.

They stepped into the house. Expressing his shock, "Woah!" Drew exclaimed, surprised by the number of people that turned up.

“Surprised?" She asked “Me too, turns out parties unite people" she laughed. She closed the door “Come on you guys!" She shouted amidst the loud music, grabbing Tyrone's hand and dragging him to the sitting room where the drinks were, Drew following closely behind them. She handed them cups as they got to the sitting room and showed them the variety of drinks they can choose from

“Hey!" Emily greeted coming up behind Drew. He turned and smiled at her

“Hi! You look great" He replied

“Do you wanna go somewhere less noisy?" She shouted

“sure" he replied. They walked through the kitchen towards the backyard, encountering some boys and girls smoking alongside the alcohol. Being uncomfortable, they walked a bit further away from them and found a spot to sit.

Breaking the silence, "it's quite peaceful out here and the stars are just as beautiful as ever" Drew stated while sipping from his cup.

“Yeah..." Emily agreed, looking up at the stars “You know, my dad believed that there's life outside Earth" she said smiling.

“Really?" Drew asked looking at her. “What about you?" He asked.

“Little green men?! Nope" she replied laughing

“Well, i think if there is life, it wouldn't be little green men...maybe there would be different species but I'm sure most would not be as beautiful as humans or at least not the one sitting beside me" He smiled, as they stared at each other. Emily started leaning towards him slowly and soon Drew met her halfway as their lips locked. They kissed for some seconds before Drew broke the kiss, he cleared his throat in an awkward manner “We should head back inside" he said

“Ye... yeah, it's getting cold out here and we shouldn't miss out on the fun inside." Emily replied. They got back into the house and saw everybody gathered in form of a circle shouting ”drink!, drink!, drink!" With the music still playing. They forced their way through the crowd and saw Tyrone and six other guys in the middle, seated and with a big bottle of gin, competing to see who will finish first. The crowd kept on shouting and urging them to drink. Soon enough Tyrone soon downed the last content and threw the bottle on the floor, making him the winner. Four of the guys passed out instantly and the other two started throwing up. The crowd started chanting Tyrones name, Anna held his jacket and drew him to herself, planting a deep kiss on his lips. He held her face as they continue to kiss, the crowd shouted excitedly in response. Emily and Drew looked at each other and laughed.

The door to the room flung open, as they both rushed into the dark room kissing. Anna took off his jacket with haste like they didn't have enough time and Tyrone returned the gesture by taking off her hoodie, exposing her bare body. He picked her up and she quickly wrapped her legs around him. He carried her like that to the bed. He sat on the bed with her ontop of him, he looked at the direction of the door “We forgot to lock the door" he said laughing

“They won't see us" she replied, pushing him down, they resumed kissing. She took off her bra still kissing him. He rolled her to her back and they resumed kissing, she clawed at his back as he grabbed her melon gently. She reached down and started undoing his pants.

Tyrone woke up suddenly, sitting up on the bed, he looked to his side and saw Anna sleeping. He checked her phone, it was past midnight. He got up and put on his trousers and t- shirt, he grabbed his jacket and silently walked out of the room. He got downstairs, it was quiet and he looked round, most of the students were gone and others had passed out on different locations in the house. He got to the sitting room and saw Drew covering Emily with a blanket on the couch. “I was about to come get you" Drew said upon seeing his brother “She just fell asleep, we were chatting" he added

“Alrighty then, let's go" Tyrone said running his finger through his hair.

They came out of the house, silently closing the door behind them and walked to were their car was. They got into the car, Tyrone turned on the ignition and drove off into the street as they made for their ship. “Are'nt you getting too close to Emily knowing how it's going to end?" Tyrone asked

“Didn't you just have s*x with Anna?" Drew replied looking at his brother

“Yeah but she isn't the vessel." He replied looking at the back mirror

“Vessel or not, we both know it's going to end the same way" Drew pointed out

“True....but I'm not getting emotionally invested" said Tyrone as he looked at the back mirror again

“And I am?" Drew asked

"Yeah, I can see it in your eyes. I know you, brother. I'm certain you've kissed her already."

“How did you know that?" Drew asked surprised

“I didn't, not until now" he smiled “It's great that my bro is finally getting some but just don't get emotionally attached, cause in a few weeks it's all gonna end" he said as he turned into the highway. He looked at the back mirror again “That car has been following us since we left the house and now it's getting closer" he pointed out as he pressed on the accelerator, driving faster. The car behind was getting closer.

Drew turned to get a good look at the car “It's getting closer!" He said

“Ahhhhh!!!" They both screamed as they heard the high pitch sound “It's them!" Tyrone shouted. He removed his hand from the steering wheel to cover his ear as the pain became unbearable. They both screamed in pain. The car swerved and hit an electric pole. They opened the doors and creeped out of the car shouting in pain, they fell flat on the floor. The car pursuing them parked close to theirs and the men on suit stepped out of the car with each of them holding the device. Their ears started to bleed, their visions became blurry and soon they both passed out.

Anna woke up suddenly because of the sound of a car honking in front of the house. She held her head as she noticed the migraine she was having. She stood up from the bed when she heard the honking again. She put on the clothes she wore the previous night. She rushed downstairs and stopped suddenly when she saw the mess made from the previous night, everyone was gone and the house was in total mess. she sighed in distress. The door clicked open and she was shocked to see who just walked in “Dad!!" She screamed excitedly. She ran and hugged him

“Hey! Pumpkin" Dr Glass said hugging her tightly

“Looks like someone had a party" Alexa said walking in with some bags

“It was just a little get together" Anna said smiling awkwardly

“Oh, pumpkin this is Alexa, she's going to be staying with us a few days...and Alexa this is my daughter Anna" he introduced

“Nice to meet you" Anna said

“Same" Alexa replied as they both exchanged a handshake.

“Alright let me help you up with the bags before cleaning this mess" Anna said smiling

“Hope you guys didn't do some illegal stuff on your get together?" Dr Glass asked

“Dad!" She shouted feeling embarrassed as she helped Alexa with the bags.
