Her Calling

Chapter Three

Mmmmm this is heaven. It's so soft that I wanted to melt with it. Ah the smell also is so intoxicating that will made you feel more relax. Ah if this is heaven I don't want to wake anymore, I want to stay here forever and sleep.

In cue my eyes flew open.What am I thinking? Scrutinizing the place, it really looks confy like the way I feel a while ago. The fabric that I'm layinh down now is so white and fluffy. I ran my finger on it. Wow what is this kind of stuff? I touch also the fabric that dividing me from outside. It feels rough and the color is so much.. I like the fabric that I'm laying down more.

"The child is awake commander." Ha I almost forgot on what situation am I right now. I'm with that old man, he kidn*pped me. After accusing me of being the bad guy here, all along it's him. The nerve of that old man. I stand up though it's hard for me coz I love the bed ,I don't have any other choice but to face them. I notice also the whip that sucking magic is not anymore on my foot. I need to be careful of it now, and also of their other weapons too.

Keeping that in mind I march out of the place. What meet my eyes did overwhelm me. The crowd is too much and the surroundings is too busy. And before I fogot they're all men, big fat old men! All of them are look like old geezer, well I'm exaggerating on that one, but what I really meant is that they're are all Buffy, massive, strong, bearded and they're weapons are overwhelmingly huge!

"Come here. " One of them told me and he suddenly grab me by my collar treating me like a child. Now I'm dangling in the air.

"Put me down! " I protest.

"Stay still little one. " Urgh this brute.

We halt and I saw the gezzer sitting down in the table together with other like him. The brute who is holding me , drop me on the ground without warning, but ofcourse I'm awesome I manage to land perfectly.

"What do you want? " I manage to ask first. I know this old man need something from me that he kept me alive, and also I knew he badly need to know who Am I.

The old man click his tounge first before speaking to me.

"State your name young  miss. And I'm  warning you,  no sarcastic  remarks or else we'll cut your tounge." is that suppose to be a threat?  And when did I have a sarcastic remarks towards him?  Crazy.

"Deandra." wow saying my name out loud was really felt wierd. Actually I don't know if it's my name really, the voice kept on whispering that on me so I suppose that's my name. You see it's the reason also I don't want to give my name to him coz I'm not sure too. I don't have my memory so they cannot blame me!

"My name is Deandra." I repeated. They just stared at me. It seems that they're processing what did just I said. So now what, that's all? They're just going to stare at me?

"Interesting." I divert my gaze at the guy on the left side of the old man. I remember him he's the one who's name is Beltor and who whipped me!

"Devine, defender of mankind. " He spoke again. Now what he's blubbering?

" It's not enough Beltor! " the old man shouted.

"O common Barbaros, if you're one of the monster you'll name you're child like that? " Oh the old man have a name. Oh wait wait are they talking about me?

"What I mean is maybe she's tricking us. "

"Then if she is,then I'll cut her head myself. " the Beltor guy retorted.

"Excuse me? Who's head are you going to cut? " Hands on my hips I angrily ask. How dare them talk in front of me like I'm not there.

Again with his habbit of clicking his tounge, tapping his finger on the table he ignored me. Urgh unbelievable!

"Okay let's bring her with us, but when she did something funny, stick with your words." Old man barks.

"Yes commander. Besides this cute little girl looks so fragile, she cannot be one of them. "

"I'm not little! "

"Yes you are." the old man boringly said.

"You're going with us and when we arrive at Xyanar you'll face the Duke. "

"I'm heading to Navar, and who's that? the Duke?" I told him before I just wanted a ride to next town until I arrived at Navar and not going to come with him!

"She's even clueless. How cruel of you to assume commander." The other Buffy guys said.

"And I think she's been lost." the other old man also interjected.

Hmmm actually the first guy was right but the second one was wrong I'm not lost.

"Whatever it is we're not sure. Keep your eyes on her, she's still a threat. " the ild man finally spoke then he stood up and walked away. Still me rooted on my spot surrounded by these Buffy old man.

"So Deandra who exactly are you? " asked the guy who dangled me in the air before. Before I can answer him he place me in the table next to Beltor, where the old man sitted before.

"I dunno." I plainly answer, that's the truth anyways.

"So tell me what am I going to do now? "

I asked them.

"You're going to come with us. It's too dangerous for you to be alone you know. "

"But I'm not heading to where you going guys. I'm going to Navar. " I once again said.

"Xyanar is a country inside the kingdom of Navar. Beltor explain. Oh so Navar is a kingdom.

"We are knights from Xyanar. The Duke deployed us here after a portal was reportedly opened five mountain from here. So basically we are on the expidetion.And we are in the border of Anteras." Beltor explain further.

Hmmm if what he said is true, then how come I didn't see any portal back there. I came from that mountain.

"When exactly did the portal reportedly open?" I inquire.

"45 days ago.We travel here 10 days ago and we're heading back to Xyanar now because we didn't see any after we raid every corner. "

Interesting. What Beltor said made me puzzled. I hope my memory will be back soon.
