"So, what do you think of Joel?"
Piper looked at Dolores with surprise. She wasn"t aware Dolores knew Joel, but after she thought about it, it made sense. Joel was working for the chief of police and Dolores was his assistant. There wasn"t much that got by Dolores; chances were she knew about things before her boss did.
"He seems a little intense, but he"s friendly enough. He"s definitely a talented artist. With little effort, he was able to draw a person just from my description." Piper hesitated for a moment and then asked her a question. "I know Joel said he works undercover and that he just moved here from Canada. Is he here permanently or just to work the case?"
Dolores gave her a secretive smile and put her fingers to her lips as if to make Piper aware what she had to say was not
