When The King and Queen Are Detectives

                                                                                     Ahn Shin Hye  “Serial killer Do Bong Shin is known for being a serial killer. For the past 25 years, he still find ways to hide himself as well as to kill innocent lives of women.”  “Chief, how can we be able to lure him out if he hides himself for over 25 years?”-detective Choi.  “Most of his victims are college students of Seoul university. I will lure him out and act as a student of Seoul University. I will be the bait.”-I stated.  “What? Yes, we know that your much younger that your age but that isn’t a good plan for you.”  “Detective Geum, do you have anything in mind then?” “I don’t have but I’ll try to think another way. Drop your thought for the meantime.”-he said.  “We don’t have much time. Have you thought that spring is approaching again?”-I added.  “Come to think of it, winter is already near its end. That serial killer might start to target a college student again.”-detective Choi.  “Exactly. We need to find another solution or else I’ll do what I said.”-I remarks. They all sigh, I just stare on the presentation. I feel bad for these beautiful ladies who is being killed by a monster. Days had passed and nothing happens. Everyone ends up agreeing to my plan. This is the first day that I’ll act as a student.  “I’m Ahn Mi So. Good morning.”-I said. I bow on them and find a seat. I choose this major because most of the women being kidn*pped are taking this course. While eating on the cafeteria, I started to observe everyone.  “Can I sit with you?”-he said. I nodded and didn’t concern myself about his looks.  “Your too busy in reading every people’s action. Don’t be too hard on yourself inspector Ahn.”  I stop from eating my food when I look at him and read him. By the way he looks, I can tell that he’s a detective. I continued to eat.  “Don’t tell me they send you here as a back-up?” “What could be the other reason? Do you think I’ll be here just to stroll? College days is not my favorite era of being a student.”-he said and eat his food.  “I can tell. You’re like a playboy scammer.” “My goodness. That’s so rude missy.” “Ohh? I didn’t know your sensitive, detective.” “Anyway, I should introduce myself before I’ll forget about it. I’m chief inspector Lee Sun Jin. Nice meeting you. I’m looking forward to work with you from now on detective Ahn.”-he said. I just nodded.  “No need to tell my name. You just say them a while ago. Same-same.”-I said. He laughs because of my rascal and not feminine actions. And so, what? Days had passed and progress starts to find its way. I have doubts to certain personalities in this school.                                                                                     Lee Sun Jin  I can’t stop smiling while looking at her. She’s too busy analyzing every people around her. You can expect that from an inspector and profiler as well. He will surely observe every detail.  “You shouldn’t wear that kind of expression from time to time. You’ll be easy to read. Act like a normal college student. You’ll just make the killer notice who you are.”  “Eat.”-she said. I shook my head and eat the tteobokki that I ordered. As the days goes by, we had made a progress. I realize that there is one person always know about the student’s life. What time they get in and out from the school. Students trust them at the same time. And that person hates spring.  “I feel bad for you Mr. Choi. How can a girl do that to you? I mean if they didn’t feel anything do, they have to do that?”-the student said.  “I know. That was already been 26 years. I just remember them when spring approaches.”  “Oh, sweetie. You’re hear.”-I said and wave on her. She gives me a death glare.  “Who are you talking to?”-she said in a firm voice. I put my arms on her shoulder.  “Sweetie, I know I was wrong okay? One more chance, hmm?”-I said to her. She suddenly put my hand from my back and twist them. The students look on us. I saw his reaction.  “The two of you, you shouldn’t talk like this in public.” “Don’t call me sweetie. I’ll kill you if you do again. Idiot.”-she said and push me. I acted that I feel on the ground. She left me. He helps me to get up.  “Is she your girlfriend?”-he said. I shook my head. “Nope. I’m just courting her but it is hard to even catch her eyes.”-I said. He nodded.  “You shouldn’t let women do this on you.”-he said. “I’m okay. Thank you for helping.”-I said. I wave on him and leave. I smirk. I need to report on the headquarters now. I know it’s my superior from Busan who keeps on calling me. The superior in Seoul police district must have been calling him.  “Good day, I’m chief inspector Lee Sun Jin from Busan district.”-I said and bow on them. She gave me a death glare. This girl is too cold and scary.  “You’re here for three weeks and you didn’t even report Mr. Lee.”  “I’m sorry Sir. I have been having a hard time. I can’t find a good place to rent.”-I said.  “But inspector Ahn told us that you have been acting as a student in the university for 15 days already.”  “Yes Sir.” “My goodness, a brazen faced kid.”-detective Geum.  “I just wanted to take a surveillance first before I’ll report here, Sir.”-I said. He gave me a suspicious look but I just act unaffected. Well, I do.                                                                                    Ahn Shin Hye  He is indeed a strange man. He even teases me in the school. Good thing that I need his help.  “Who will report first?”-Mr. Song. “Why don’t we report together?”-he said. I stood up and so he is. I played the pictures of the victim being r***d, tortured and murdered.  “For the past 25 years, this r****t serial killer had started its course on the very first day of school in spring day. The first victim is Ms. Seo Jin Ah. Sperm is being found on her genital and there is also cigarette burn in her n*****s, breast, ears and nape. This area is sensitive to girls during s*x intercourse.”-I said.  “There are also trace of party drugs like ecstasy and cocaine in the victim’s body that will surely give them an opposite feeling during their sadistic s****l i*********e with the killer. He must be psycho who had psychological problems in his childhood days. His father might be an S and her mother might be M or vice versa. We can say that the serial killer had a bad experience in love.”-he said.  “Just like the any other serial killers, he also took souvenirs from his victim. It is their c******s and pubic hairs.”-I said. On the picture you can totally see the new shave or cut pubic hairs and their c******s are being cut. I move the pictures next. It is the first people of interest who proves their innocence.  “Every man here are boyfriends or exes of the 20 victims but prove their innocence along the way. They also have their own family now and no other evidences show about other suspect or interest for these killings.”-I said.  “But throughout the year, one student is being killed every spring came. The killing stop on the 13th victim and 5 years goes by and he starts again. That was 2013 and he started to kill and r**e again in 2014 until last year.”-I said.  “Do you have any progress while acting as students?” “Yes.”-we both said. He signed me to tell my views first. I took a deep sigh.  “All of the victims are not being seen to be kidnap on their way home or even in the places that they hang out for. That gives me an idea that they know that person and trust him. I’ve got the idea that it can be teacher, non-teaching staff like the university guards.”  I flash the pictures of the guards from 1990-1995. I have 10 guards here.  “These are the guard who are working in 1990-1995 who are new and suited on the age range of the suspects.”-I said and told them what they need to hear. They all nodded.  “But these 7 had resigned after they graduated in the school. There only 3 left that is still active as security guard until now.”-I said.                                                                                   Lee Sun Jin  “Park Gun, Lee Ram and Kim Min Seok. These three guards are still working in that university. How about the non-teaching staff? The janitor? Those who are in school administrators?”-Mr. Song.  “I have discovered that most of them are not involve with the student’s private life. Most of the victims are either dump their boyfriends in public. And they even made their boyfriends like their dogs in everyone’s eyes. Which made me think that the suspect will be the security guards who can see the student’s life from time to time. Just like what happen between me and inspector Ahn.”-I said. She looks at me.  “It’s just my theory but I tried to use that tactic and didn’t plan it with inspector Ahn. For a girl like her, she will surely do what I expected her to do. She showed the public that she didn’t like me who court her and even stalk her. Two of the university guards saw that scene.”-I said.  “It’s Park Gun and Kim Min Seok. Park Gun are mostly assigned in the parking lot but he is saw what happen before getting back in the parking lot. He just smokes because I saw that he’s chewing a gum and his lips are dark which mean he’s a smoker.  “Kim Min Seok is always been assigned on the exit and entrance of the university since he started working in September 1996. He also shows sign of smoking and I also had a doubt that he is an addict.”-I said.  “His trembling hands, the way he licks his lips and even his eyes are signs that he’s using 5 fingers or other drugs. No matter how he hides it by his young look, you can still see his dark side. I want investigate about his life when he’s in high school. I want a background check to this guard. Even to Park Gun. But my eyes are really on this guard.”-I added.  “Detective Geum, I want you to investigate about Park Gun and detective Choi. You will be investigating about Kim Min Seok.”-Mr. Song.  “Yes Sir.” “Good job. That’s all, continue acting and we might have more leads according your hunches.”  “Yes Sir!”-we both said. We bow to him before he leaves. I sat down and drink my water on the table. Everyone leave, I played the pictures and slides. My teeth greeted when I saw a specific picture.  No matter what happen, I will get the bottom of this. As a policeman, I will bring justice to these victims. I will make sure of that.  I was on the parking lot opening my car when she stops me from closing the door.  “Do you need anything, inspector Ahn?” “Want to drink?”-she said. My eyebrow arches. “Why not? Come on in.”-I said. She made me see her car key. She just gives me the address and we went there.
