The first kiss

A soft breeze caressed her cheeks as she lay down in the comfort of her new bed. Nicole Herselman, just arrived a few hours from her hometown town. She was so exhausted that she didn't know how she fell asleep. The alarm woke her up and she was so shocked to realize that it was already half past 8 in the morning, she had planned to wake up at 6 to go find a job. She sighed in disappointment, she got out of bed and tied her long brown hair in a messy ponytail. She made herself a warm cup of coffee and took a newspaper to keep herself busy. After glancing in the newspaper for about 10 minutes without actually reading it, she decided to toss it aside and give her mother a phone call. She told her mom that she had arrived safely, and she was really doing well. Her mother, who was very used to being around her daughter, was really worried. She told her to take care of herself just like any other mother would tell her children. A tall, handsome man entered the door of the Marero Empire wearing a designer suit. As he approached the office, the employees started rushing to put everything in great order and all of them stood up to greet their young and gorgeous boss. He keeps a very harsh face and hardly smiles. All the employees had great fear of him. He is a perfectionist and fires everyone who refuses to abide by the rules and regulations of the Marero Empire. He nodded his head to greet his employees. Without a single word, he walked to his office and shut the door behind him. A few minutes later, there was a knock on his door and the secretary came in carrying a pile of files that needed his signature. He signaled to the secretary to put them on his desk and live his office. "Guess what Nicole", shouted Jennifer Nicole's friend, who was on the call with her. She urged her to spill the beans. "One of my colleagues resigned today, and we urgently need a replacement." After hearing the news, she jumped up and, in excitement, she quickly informed her friend that she would be there in a few minutes to convince the owner of the shop to hire her. In a few minutes, she was already in the coffee shop talking to the lady. The lady was so desperate to get a new employee, hence she quickly hired her. Nicole was over the moon, and she quickly got her apron on and wore a plastic on her head. Without wasting more time, she started her work. She was already used to it because she used to help her mother back home in her coffee shop. " Get ready to meet your dream man here." Jennifer teased her. She hugged her and thanked her for getting a job for her. The two had been friends since childhood but, unfortunately, were separated when Jennifer's parents moved to the city. However, they kept being in touch and continued their friendship regardless of the distance between them. " Miguel, this is the wrong time for you to suggest coffee. Couldn't you see how many files need my signature?" Miguel stood up and went to stand next to his friend. He tapped him on the shoulder. "Come on Aliadro, don't be a workaholic, you are always in this office. Can't you spend a few minutes with your friend? Aliadro stood up, grabbed his suit and motioned his friend to follow him. " 30 minutes only, I have work to do." He smiled at him and shouted" that's my friend ". They drove for 10 minutes before reaching byte Café. The best coffee shop in town, according to Miguel. They sat at a table in the corner and enjoyed the cold breeze while waiting for the waitress to arrive. Jennifer rushed to them and asked for their order. They ordered almond cookies and a cappuccino. Nicole took their order, but accidentally poured hot coffee on Aliadro. She quickly offered to help wipe his expenses suit, but he refused. Before he could say anything, his words were stuck in his mouth. When he saw how drop-dead gorgeous the lady in front of her was, he could swear he had seen very beautiful ladies before, but he was certain that this beauty was undefeated. He was mesmerized by her eyes, which were like pools of molten sapphire, deep and mysterious. They held a captivating intensity that seemed to draw him in, as if they could see straight into his soul. When she smiled, her eyes crinkled at the corners, forming delicate lines that added to her charm. Her gaze was soft and gentle, yet there was a hidden fire burning within them, a passion that ignited his heart. He could feel his heart beating because of the sight in front of her. He imagined himself caressing her beautiful brown hair and removing that red ribbon she used to tie her hair with. " I am sorry, sorry sir, please forgive me", the sweet voice brought him back to his senses and he felt a little embarrassed about staring at her like that. "Please don't report me. I can wash your suit for you please ", she continued, apologizing because she was scared of losing her job. Miguel, who noticed how his friend stared at the young lady, decided to help his friend. " Yes please we would like you to wash it for him, he took a card from his pocket and handed it to the lady. "That's his office address tomorrow morning. Come pick up his suit". Aliadro was just seated there looking at his friend handling the case. Although she felt a little disrespected, she sighed in relief that she had not been reported and was not asked to buy that expensive suit. " Excuse me, I will bring you another order, and I apologize once more again" She hurriedly went and brought them another order. She excused herself and joined Jennifer, who was watching everything behind the counter. As she approached her, Jennifer started laughing. " I warned you that you would find your rich man here. She rolled her eyes and pinched her face. "Just shut up" Jennifer smiled and looked at her stressed friend. Don't worry, this is just the beginning of a love story. She teased her again. They both exchanged laughter and continued their work. "What was that," Miguel asked, raising his eyebrows, giving him a sexy look. " Don't you think I should be the one asking you that question, because what the f***k was that? Why would you give her my office address" Miguel looked at him in the eyes and smiled, I have been with you for years now. We have been together for almost all of our lives, so I know you well. "What does that mean, Miguel? "I just saw you staring at the waitress in a way that I only saw you staring at Michelle. "Please Miguel don't start. I already told you that no one would ever replace Michelle in this world. I had given him my heart, and she died with it. I will never be able to love someone like that ever" Well. I have already given your address. Tomorrow you will decide if you will ever love anyone or not. One thing I know is that Michelle would love to see you very happily in love. I am not saying forget about her, I am just saying give love a chance. Aliadro stood up and glanced at his watch, "My 30 minutes are up, I have work to do." They left the café and went their separate ways. When he reached his apartment, he removed his ruined suit, and tossed it in the laundry room.
