1011 Words
The three happily eating in the gazebo on Haro Plaza suddenly saw Abraham stops chewing his food. And Isaac immediately ask him why. "Is something wrong, brother Abraham?" Isaac also stops eating, looking at Abraham's expression. "Yeah, you seem to hear something unexpected. Am I right?" Joseph is only trying to figure out on his mind that it's about something he must know and not what he shouldn't know. "Stay quiet first," he put his pointed finger on his lips and gesture zippering his mouth in front of the two. Then, he closes his eyes and open his ears on the sudden noise he heard 290 miles away from Haro Plaza. Abraham listened carefully as he started to raise the amount of power he has in his ear to hear the voices calling for help. And it exploded his mind. He can't bear to hear it altogether. To stop it momentarily, Abraham decided to close his hearing ability and opened his eyes. "So, what happened brother Abraham?" Joseph is waiting for his answer while Isaac notice the sudden bleeding on his left ears. "Hey, your left ear is bleeding. Was it because of what you heard?" Isaac is no longer afraid if Joseph heard him saying those words, or if he finds it confusing. All he knew is Abraham is not okay. And it worries him. "I'm fine, Isaac. I can manage the bleeding in my left ear. What I wanted to say now is important that I need your answers immediately," Abraham is seriously looking at both of them, especially Joseph confused all of a sudden. "What is it about that you are going to ask, brother Abraham? You, Joseph, listen," Isaac's worries changed from level three down to level one when he saw the serious expression of Abraham. He now sees Joseph as the new target of confusion. "I... I'll listen. Go ahead, brother Abraham," surprisingly he is unable to complete his words and his mind is bothered by something else. But, Abraham knew the reason why. "All right. I'll start. Would you like to come with me in Manila?" The moment Isaac heard the word Manila, he was unable to speak. He looked deeply into his mind and started imagining things about the place he only heard from tourists, or passersby. "Manila is a bustling city. But, it's a nice place." "There are a lot of new buildings, famous parks, restaurants, and attractions you will surely love if you'll visit there." "It's full of trash and slums. I saw it on the television, read it on the news, and heard it on a radio station. It's not precisely the place you wish to stay once you get there." "Isaac? Isaac!" Abraham saw him imagining things and even smiling all of a sudden. But, when he heard the last words he recalled about Manila, he returned to his self and responded to Abraham's question. "Wherever you go, I'll go with you. I know Manila is famous from tourists and passersby, but if it's your call to be there, I'll follow you, brother Abraham. And my decision is final," Isaac hid the excitement he felt. He actually realized that it's not better to try a new place, a new home, and a new taste of food. That is why he agreed instantly. Then, it's time for Joseph's decision. Abraham moves closer to him and pat his shoulder. "I know what bothers you at this point of time, Joseph. But, I promise you that after I hear your decision and decides to follow me in Manila, I'll tell you everything. So, relax and take a deep breath." "Really? You're going to answer my question?" he smiled looking at him sincerely. "I doubt it," Isaac interrupted and Abraham immediately pushes him on his back to listen to Joseph's response. "Forget about what Isaac said. Now, would you like to come with us in Manila?" Abraham watches his mouth open and Joseph said yes. "Now, we're talking. Then, do not blame me for doing this." Without asking their permission, Abraham embraces Isaac and Joseph in his arms and whispered something in his mind. Immediately after that, the three disappeared from the gazebo in Haro Plaza and found themselves standing in front of Andres Bonifacio Sigaw sa Pugadlawin statues. "What? This is crazy, Abraham!" For the first time, Abraham heard Isaac cursed at him. And when he realizes it, he covered his mouth and apologized. Abraham understood while watching Joseph finding a place to throw up. "I am so sorry for dragging you right away from Haro Plaza and bring you here. Welcome to Manila!" Abraham welcomed himself, Isaac, and Joseph to their new home in Manila. And when he opened his hearing ability, a lot of help came rushing in that Abraham suddenly need to leave the two of them. "It's time for me to do my first job here, Isaac. I'll leave Joseph to your care. You can start exploring the place, but make sure to return on the same spot because later on we will have to find a new place to stay, somewhere in Rizal Park. Understand?" "No problem. What else do I have to say? We're here and might as well explore the place, brother Abraham. Go ahead and start saving them. Don't worry about Joseph, it was a short and unexpected trip, sort of jet lag in an airplane. Take care." Abraham nodded and after a while, he run like a flash and started saving one by one those who needed his help in a new place. The only difference in saving them now from what he did in the Visayas, he did not transform. And he'll find out what will happen if people started noticing his ugly face. If it turns out bad, he'll probably return to wearing a blue cape with a mask on his face. If it's a good sign, then he'll only wear a mask or transform if it's needed, but if it doesn't require immediate attention, he'll save them with his real face.
