"You think your husband is a god? Then let us hear the news of how he defeats the god of war, Ube. We all know that by now your husband must have died and you are here having false hopes over him. I am not going to come in here again requesting for your body again. The next time I come in and you do not give it to me willingly I will take it by force or you leave my land and return to the land of Getu. I mean what I have just said and there is no two ways about it" Onuwu stood up and walked out angrily. In a field outside the home of the leader of the people of Ubiam were Oyolima and Golibe as they were walking and discussing. Oyolima was remaining Golibe that she needed to be calmer and let their mother handle the Onowu of Ubiam but Golibe still thought the ruler was disgusting and should never be allowed to mess with their mother. This was a case of a man making mockery of their father and then going behind them to make love to their mother. Oyolima could remember what Golibe did to a man whom their father had caught peeping through a cracked wall and watching his wife take her bath. The man in question was one of the servants in the palace of Getu and when the king received the report of what the man did he immediately asked the guards to bring him up immediately and the man was dragged to the king. The king was about to say something when Golibe walked in and told the father that she heard of what happened and what the man did and she would beg him to give her the power to torture the man in question.. The king sat back and Golibe took it from there. Golibe asked the guards to tie the man against the wall and they did. After they had finished tying him against the wall Golibe asked them to strip him naked and they did. She collected a whip from one of the guards and began to whip the man all over his body. The man's screams could be heard outside the palace as he begged to be forgiven but Golibe was not listening. She kept on flogging the man until he fainted. When he fainted she commanded that the man be poured water and made well again and that was done and the man regained himself and to his shock Golibe repositioned him well for another strokes of the cane. The man kept screaming until he lost his voice and could scream no longer. Golibe dropped the whip and asked the guards to throw him into the cell room as soon as possible and it was done without a twinkling of an eye. The man found himself inside the cell when he woke up the next morning and he could not stop crying and begging, asking to be pardoned. His pleas fell on deaf ears as the person in charge of his case was Golibe who had no atom of pity for him. She asked the guards to throw him out of the palace without his cloths on but the Queen begged her and asked her to tamper justice with mercy and Golibe listened to her mother and asked the men to dress him up and drive him out of the palace. The man was bundled out of the palace without his cloths on. At that point the king came to realise the kind of daughter he gave birth to and even Oyolima was not left out, as she wondered the king of sister she had. She kept staring at her and wondering what she would grow to become and that her fear came through because Golibe became more brutal as days passed by.
