Jake's mother still knelt on the floor with her two palms covering her mouth and tears in her eyes.
"Mother. What is it. Why are you crying?" Jake asked.
Jake's father cleared his throat and began;
"My son. We thought something terrible must have happened to you in your sleep. You couldn't wake up from your sleep for hours. There was nothing we could do but... But to have your servants sent to the home of the night witch for sacrifice in order to bring you back to the land of the living"
Jake slowly stood up and went closer to his father.
"Who ordered this?" He asked impatiently.
The mother explained everything from where she was kneeling, still begging her son to calm down.
Across the villages of the red people, the one eyed man, Tracy, the remaining female servant and the guards dragging them arrived in the home of the night witch. The Night Witch crawled out from her hut and sniffed. She had no eyes but could see and her cloths were in rags. She smiled and said, "One eyed man. You never told me you were this ambitious. You know too well that you didn't bring them here as a sacrifice to bring back the son of one of the wealthiest man in Kezeya because I know too well that you caused the young man to sleep that long. Now make it known to all what you want me to do for you with these sacrifices you bring with you"
The one eyed man smiled and at once used his magical powers to burn the guards Jake's mother instructed to guard them to the home of the night witch.They burnt to death. Tracy and the other girl were terribly shocked and scared.
"So it was the one eyed man that used his magical powers to keep Jake sleeping for that long? This question rang inside Tracy's head.
"Kezeya has always neglected me. Jake's mother was betrothed to me but she left me after I lost one of my eyes fighting for her father. She betrayed me and married that rich fool. Now she will pay. The whole Kezeya will pay for encouraging injustice!!!" The one eyed man screamed while the Night Witch laughed hard in support of his request.
The two ladies lost their hope.
Back in Kezeya, Jake had mounted his horse to ride out of the house but his father instructed the guards to restrict him while his mother fell in front of his horse and was crying like a baby. Begging him not to go.
