Sebastiano and Valentine were overseeing the next shipment of wine when they received a visitor. Sebastiano had seen him before snooping around, looking for something. But it wasn't until he saw the look on this guy’s face that he realized he might be real trouble. Sebastiano told Valentine to take over the shipment while he went and talked to this guy.
Sebastiano approached him, the guy was short and somewhat scrawny but there was something about him that felt off to Sebastiano. “So, what can I help you with? This is the third or fourth time you've trespassed. So, tell me what you want?”
The guy looked at Sebastiano and just smiled, “Oh well you know, I was hired to investigate you and your friend over there to find out who you really are. Of course, I'm sure you already know that. Perhaps we can speak in private, I doubt you want what I'm about to say heard by everyone.”
Sebastiano hesitated for a moment and then nodded, “Fine come with me,” he says walking towards his house. As they walk, he asks the guy, “So what should I call you?”
The guy lets out a quiet laugh, “You can call me Dean.”
After going inside and heading into Sebastiano's office, Dean sits down in a chair while Sebastiano pours them some drinks. He sits down after handing Dean his drink and then looks at him.
“Well you have my attention Dean, what is it you think you know about me?” He asks.
Dean gives a smirk, “I don't think I know; I do know. For example, I know that your real name is not Sebastiano Genovese. I also know you are not from here. Not this place.” He pauses for a moment then says, “Or this time.”
Sebastiano carefully watches him, “Go on.” He says.
Dean continues, “I also know that you have been alive for a lot longer than most humans have been. I have traced back as far as I can records of you. It struck me as odd that there was no record of you until about fifty years ago, until I released that you weren't the only one that wasn't aging. Valentine doesn't age either.”
“So, we age slower than most people, who cares, so my name is different how do you know I didn't change it to protect myself from someone?” Sebastiano asks.
Dean laughs, “Because I know more than that, I know you are the son of an Egyptian God, I’m just not sure which one. I've studied Egypt all my life, and I find it strange that a man named Giuseppe came from Egypt made a fortune for himself and then disappeared. Then years, hundreds of years later, you a complete stranger appears. I've had a lot of time to study you and your friend.”
It was at that point the Sebastiano knew this could be serious trouble for him and Valentine. “So, you haven't told me what exactly you want?”

It was at that point the Sebastiano knew this could be serious trouble for him and Valentine. “So, you haven't told me what exactly you want?”
Dean gave a smirk, “I want you to make me immortal, if not well then I will just have to share your little secret with everyone. Plus, if anything happens to me the information is safe to where someone will find it as I have instructed.”
Sebastiano watched him carefully, and he knew that last part was a lie. He had lived long enough to know when he was being lied to. This fool had no backup plan. No way of sharing his secret after all who would believe him. This could not be left undealt with.
Sebastiano smiled, “Well if that's all you were wanting, I could help with that.”
Dean was surprised, “Really just like that you would help make me immortal.”
Sebastiano shrugged, “Maybe.”
He got up and went to refill his glass. Dean sat in the chair staring off for a bit, he didn't see the wine bottle hitting him over the head. He dropped his glass of wine; the hit had left him unconscious. Sebastiano did what he needed to, he broke Dean's neck and then later that night he and Valentine hid the body where it would never be found.
Sebastiano found out where Dean lived and cleared his home of all the research he had done. He destroyed it all so he and Valentine would be safe. The next twenty-five years passed without much worry. Sebastiano made people think he was the great great grandson of the original Sebastiano, only Valentine knew who he really was.
Then it came, the year when Bastet was to be reborn, and what a year it was...
