Ally’s POV
Four days had passed since I learned that Adeline was my sister. I still couldn’t believe it. I have had a sister this entire time.
For the past four days, I have been wondering how my father had been living this double life without giving himself away. Adeline told me that he had been there until she was 7 and she was taken away. At that time, I would have been 8 and I would have noticed if my father had been missing from home a lot. I do remember him working a lot though so maybe that was when he did it? The typical way to have an affair. Telling your wife that you have work and then go see your mistress. Just that, in this case, it wasn’t his mistress.
According to Adeline our father was married to her mother and they had been married for 4 years before she was born.
