IN BETWEEN THE WORLDS

There was a package in front of my door step, I took it inside and it was a package from Reese's Dad, she collects the package from me and opens it,it was a magical book,Reese is a witch,her Dad died few years ago but she kept receiving packages in her dad's name, I was really scared of Reese when she discovered her powers,I am just a normal girl without any power's, living a normal life with a super- natural friend. REESE: Rivette, can you turn down the volume of the TV please, I'm trying to practice here. I was actually watching my favorite program, I turned down the volume of the TV, Reese and I have been best friends since our childhood,my both parents died in a car accident, so,I lived with Reese and her Dad, her mum abandoned Reese and her Dad when Reese was a year old, I lived with Reese until her Dad died, we are both orphans,I knew nothing much about my parents because they died when I was 10, no relatives of my parents came looking for me and I was hurt,I only had a tattoo on my neck,an infinity, I really do not know what it means.Reese has been looking for a clue to get to know the witches circle in New Orleans, we have been planning to move to New Orleans. REESE: Rivette, I've found them RIVETTE: Who? REESE:They gather at New Orleans every Full moon RIVETTE:And the full moon is in the next few days REESE: We need to move to New Orleans now? RIVETTE:Now? REESE: Yeah, we don't have much time, I'll drive then RIVETTE:oh k. We packed our bags and put it in the truck, Reese drove the truck, to get to New Orleans from Los Angeles would take us two or three days,I packed some snacks in the truck,Reese has a driver's license,and she really is a fast driver, we passed through Las Vegas, a city know for it's casino and night life, we decided to stop for the night around the Grand canyon, we parked our truck in front of a wretched house, Reese was fast asleep, I got down to urinate,I decided to go into the house, I took my phone, I went in there and after using the toilet, I was about to leave when I felt the presence of someone, I was scared, my feet was numb,I stood there,a young dude came out of the shadows, he stood in front of me. ******* Raven's POV ***** I went into my grandmother's wretched house and I saw a girl, she looked scared, I thought she was a werewolf but she wasn't, I came out of my shadows and stood in front of her,she looked like an angel in disguise, her heart was pure,I could feel her comfort, I moved closer to her and I touched her hair,I could sense her fear,I couldn't take my eyes off her,then I whispered to her. RAVEN: What are you doing here little one RIVETTE:I used the toilet, please don't hurt me. RAVEN: You don't have to be afraid of me... Before he could finish his sentence, he left,then Reese came into the house and I told her that I came to use the restroom, I didn't tell her about the guy I saw,we left the house and she started driving again. *****The Ethan's property ***** The Ethan's house is where the head of witches lives,her husband Mr. Ethan was a werewolf who died a long time ago, no one knew the cause of his death except his wife Nathaniel, they have a son named Raven,he kind of took after his Dad features but he became a Wizard. Mrs. Nathaniel:Where the hell have you been Raven? RAVEN: I went out to get some air Mrs. Nathaniel: Some air,you say, remember that no one should suspect that you are a Wizard and a powerful one at that or else you would be wanted by the Supreme RAVEN: Okay mum,I've heard you but you would be expecting some visitors very soon. Mrs. Nathaniel: What are you talking about? *******Raven's POV******* I went to my Dad's room, I searched through his old box,I found the picture, it looks exactly like her but she doesn't seem like a witch,does it mean that she is my step sister?,I can't tell my mum about this or else she would go after her,I kept on checking my dad's box then I found the infinity sign on her neck being sketched on a piece of paper, I really do not get it, the question is WHAT IS SHE? ********REESE'S POV******** I kept on driving, Rivette was weirdly silent, since she went into that wretched house, she hasn't said a word to me, it's unlike her,she has something going through that little head of hers,but In a few hours, we would get to New Orleans. *********RIVETTE'S POV******** I haven't been myself since I saw him last night, I saw darkness in his eyes, his eyes were cold and dark,I really wish I could see him again, it felt like I've known him my whole life, he looks so handsome and very young, I can't tell Reese about him or else she would think I'm sick because she didn't see anyone when she came in. I can't wait to get to New Orleans. *********NEW ORLEANS ******* *********REESE'S POV*********** We finally arrived at New Orleans, we decided to rent a house with our savings, when we got to the apartment, we cleaned up and we took our rooms each, it was a two bedroom apartment, after we unpacked,I sat on the couch with Rivette then I decided to ask her what she would love to do here in New Orleans. REESE: Rivette,what would you like to place your hands on in this new city? RIVETTE: I would love to work at the Cafe we saw when we arrived at New Orleans REESE: That's nice,I would um...keep on checking out for any witch around,I'll go get us some food. ******** RIVETTE'S POV ********** Reese left the house and I felt someone's presence again,it was the same guy I saw in the wretched house, I wasn't afraid this time. RIVETTE: Are you stalking me? RAVEN: No,you are in my apartment, first was my Grandmother's house,now my apartment. RIVETTE: we weren't told that someone lives here. RAVEN: I don't pay for rents and no one knows that I live here,enjoy your stay in New Orleans little one RIVETTE: I'm Rivette, not little one RAVEN: Rivette?,that doesn't ring a bell RIVETTE: Huh? RAVEN: Good bye little one (leaves) RIVETTE: I didn't get your name Reese came back with some foods and we ate, she bought hamburgers and chips and also two soda drinks,after eating, I went to my room looking through the window, Full moon is in the next two days, then I would be leaving here all alone because they won't let her go cos she is a witch and she doesn't really know how to keep up with her powers yet,I laid on my bed thinking,I know that Reese would be in her room practicing her magic but she doesn't know how I feel about this, I slept off. ********RAVEN'S POV*********** Her name is Rivette, Dad wrote about her somewhere in his journal, he described her as Luna which was weird,her name isn't Luna, he also said that she is a kind, resilience, respectful and she was created with more than his features,I really don't understand this at all,I watched her think all through the night before she could sleep, something was different about her,i can't read her thoughts,she is really something that she doesn't know and she doesn't want to be. ************RIVETTE'S POV ************ I woke up and took my bath, and I dressed up and went to the Cafe called "Té Cafe",I met the manager and she said nothing as I came in,then I told her the reason I came. RIVETTE: Good morning ma'am, I'm here to ask if I can work here Mrs. Brown: Are you sure you can work here? RIVETTE: Yes ma Mrs.Brown: Suit yourself then RIVETTE : Thank you ma'am I started working immediately, I worked with a girl known as Lisa, she was really nice to me,she helped me out alot and I also helped her, we closed by 7pm and we open by 9am ,I really loved the job,after my first day at work, I decided to walk home,I wanted to see the beauty of New Orleans and Reese has planned to go see the head of the witches tomorrow night because it's going to be the full moon,I felt someone's presence around me. RAVEN: When would you get used to me walking beside you? RIVETTE: I feel your presence sometimes you know RAVEN: Going home after your first day of work, huh? RIVETTE: Yeah, how did you know that? RAVEN: It seems like I guessed right RIVETTE: I didn't get to know your name RAVEN: So you would tell your friend about me? RIVETTE: Who are you? RAVEN: That question should be directed to you RIVETTE: Excuse me? RAVEN: I'm sorry, pardon my manners RIVETTE: Why are you walking me home? RAVEN: So, people won't know that you are single (smiles) RIVETTE: Why are you smiling? RAVEN: Seems like you have alot of questions in your head,little one RIVETTE: Are we really going with little one? RAVEN:(Laughs) Good bye Little one (leaves) Before I could say goodbye, he left,then I saw Reese in front of the door waving at me, I waved back, I walked to her and we went inside together, I was expecting her to ask me who the guy I was walking with was,but she didn't say anything related to it, she only asked about my first day at work and we talked, she informed me that we were going to the witches circle tomorrow night,I became scared, I went to my room, I couldn't sleep, I heard some weird noise. RIVETTE: I know you are there Mister RAVEN: Why aren't you scared? RIVETTE: There's nothing to be scared of RAVEN: Really? RIVETTE: You have to really return those keys, so you would stop coming in here RAVEN: (Laughs),keys you say,oh little one RIVETTE: I'm being serious here *********RAVEN'S POV ********* She was incredible, sometimes, I was lost in her beauty, I watched her drag me by my collar when she said that she was serious,she is supposed to be afraid of me, I'm a powerful wizard, she really is something,I couldn't hide my feelings anymore, I froze when she came close to me, her nose pressing mine, our lips almost met each other, she looked into my eyes and asked why it was dark,I regained myself and I left,I can't place who she is and it seems she doesn't have an idea either. {The next morning} ********RIVETTE'S POV ********** I was on my way to the Café when a guy stopped me, he pulled me to himself and said he liked me,I tried to pull free from him but his grip was hard on me before I knew it, I heard someone asking him to leave me and he left me without hesitation, when I turned around, I saw no one, I ran to the Café, I got to the café and started working, then I heard a Whisper RAVEN: You didn't thank me for helping you earlier RIVETTE: so, you were the one,thanks anyways RAVEN:I still don't know why you aren't afraid of me, I might be dangerous. RIVETTE: you know, your lips is a worse liar than you are. RAVEN: I don't understand RIVETTE: I need to work please RAVEN: As you wish (Leaves) After work, I took a cab home, when I got home, Reese dragged me to an estate,then Reese chanted a spell and we walked into the gate and came out in a dark place,I was afraid, we walked into a hall,the fires were guiding us then we got to a place where the witches were gathered ,the head of the witches was sitting there as if she was expecting us when she saw me ,her first word was "Ethan" and everyone turned around looking at me,they whispered to themselves . Mrs. Nathaniel: What brings you here Reese Masefield? REESE: I came with my friend Rivette, I'm a witch and my Dad died when I was 16,he was a Wizard, he taught me alot of things about witches, he told me about Mr. Ethan, he asked me to find his wife and ever since then, I receive a package in his name Mrs.Nathaniel: Is your friend a witch also? RIVETTE: No,I'm not Mrs. Nathaniel: Then you don't deserve to be here,and you can't leave here without either being compelled or dead REESE: she has been my childhood best friend and no one knows I'm a witch except her,please spare her Mrs. Nathaniel: Okay then,but she has to leave here now, Raven! RAVEN: Yup,oh little one RIVETTE: Raven huh? *********RAVEN'S POV******* I took Rivette into my house, she seemed sad,she sat in my lounge and I went to my room looking through my Dad's journal then she came into my room. She sat on my bed and I hid the journal under my bed RIVETTE: Any confessions to make? RAVEN: I don't get you? RIVETTE: You are a damn f*****g Wizard RAVEN: Oh yeah, it's nothing actually RIVETTE: Really? RAVEN: How did you get the tattoo on your neck? RIVETTE: oh, this ( points at the tattoo) RAVEN: yeah RIVETTE: It was my Dad that drew it on my neck RAVEN: where is he now? RIVETTE: He died in a car accident with my mum when I was eight RAVEN: I'm sorry RIVETTE: It's okay RAVEN: Don't expect your friend to return RIVETTE: I know, I'll be leaving alone now, by the way why did your mother call me Ethan? RAVEN: I have no idea *******IN THE WITCHES CIRCLE ******* Mrs Nathaniel is seen calling a man named Parker. Mrs Nathaniel: I saw Ethan on her face the moment she came in Parker: but Ethan is dead Mrs Nathaniel: Yes, but Raven is supposed to be in control of the witches and the werewolf but he is only a Wizard, are you sure that Ethan doesn't have a daughter Parker:No,after the accident, we went to the house where he lived with juliet, we met no one there Mrs Nathaniel: Maybe I had an illusion Parker: yeah *******IN RAVEN'S ROOM****** RAVEN: Do you know anything about your Dad? RIVETTE: Not really, he always wrote about me in a book but I can't find the book anymore, after the accident, Reese's Dad took me in and I lived with them, I could remember that the night my parents died, I started to feel things going on around me but I missed my parents, my Dad always reads me some stories and he said I was going to be a great leader. RAVEN: A great leader huh? RIVETTE: Yeah, why all this questions? RAVEN: I just wanted to know more about you, that's all RIVETTE: what about your father? RAVEN: his dead RIVETTE: Oh my gosh, I'm sorry for asking RAVEN: it's fine RIVETTE : what's your Dad's name? RAVEN: Ethan RIVETTE: Ethan,that's nice RAVEN: You can spend the night here RIVETTE: Really?,thanks RAVEN: You're welcome,I'll go get you a night wear, downstairs RIVETTE: Okay ********* RIVETTE'S POV ********** Raven left the room,and I was feeling kind of sleepy then I decided to lay on the bed when I stumbled upon a journal hidden in a drawer under the bed,I opened the journal out of curiosity and it looked familiar, it was my Dad's journal, Raven came into the room and saw me with the journal and he was surprised how I saw it. RAVEN: um...Rivette, drop it back RIVETTE : where did you find it? RAVEN: That's my Dad's journal, I saw it in his room the day he died RIVETTE: Lair, it's my Dad's journal, he wrote alot about me in it RAVEN: And I want to know why he wrote about you RIVETTE: Because he is my Dad RAVEN: I know Okay? RIVETTE: Then why are you lying? RAVEN: I'm not lying RIVETTE: How I'm I going to believe what you are saying? RAVEN: Leave Rivette and drop my Dad's journal RIVETTE: Are you being serious right now? RAVEN: (angry) I said leave I left the room and found my way out of the house, I've lost my friend to this mean people, without looking back, I took a cab home, when I got home, I was hungry but I couldn't go outside because it was too late, what is really in that journal that he is hiding and that's my Dad's journal, none of this makes sense to me. RAVEN: You seem hungry RIVETTE: What are you doing here? RAVEN : I bought sandwiches and fried chicken on my way here,and I know that you are hungry RIVETTE: Is this your way of Apologizing to me? RAVEN: I don't know, call it whatever you want. RIVETTE: I'm not eating then RAVEN: I'm sorry Rivette RIVETTE: Apology not accepted but I'll eat RAVEN: Are you being serious right now? RIVETTE: Yeah (eats) RAVEN: My Dad died years ago, he was a werewolf while my mum is a witch..... RIVETTE: (interrupts) and you are supposed to be a hybrid and then a girl shows up having the same features in your father's journal and you are a Wizard but you don't possess any feature of a werewolf and you assume that the girl is a hybrid RAVEN: How did you know that? RIVETTE: My Dad read me a story like that but he asked me to figure out the ending. RAVEN: You are the hybrid Rivette RIVETTE: Enough with the jokes Raven RAVEN: I'm not joking, from what I've figured out, your Dad is a werewolf. RIVETTE: but my mum isn't a witch RAVEN : Are you sure? RIVETTE: Yeah, I'm just a normal girl that doesn't possess any power's. RAVEN: My mum would be coming after you,so,be prepared to face the Elders RIVETTE: What are you talking about? RAVEN: you're no longer safe here RIVETTE: Why? RAVEN : You are a f*****g hybrid Rivette, just accept who you are RIVETTE: I'm not leaving here and I'm not a hybrid RAVEN: just listen to me RIVETTE: I'm listening but you are spouting nonsense,just leave me alone Raven RAVEN: Fine As well as I know myself, Raven is uttering nonsense, the next day,while I was working, some people came in looking at me,I was confused and surprised, I decided to leave the Café but one of them held me back, I really do not know how he did it but I couldn't pass the door,I stood at the door,I knew I was in trouble, the only thing that came to my head was "Celestial" and I said it,everyone couldn't move except from the gangs who were witches, then I tried thinking of spell that Reese usually practiced then I remembered one and I said "Aegis mea,protege me" and I was covered by a shield then the color of my hair changed, I was surprised as they were then they left, I looked for a cap and covered my hair and I left the café after everything was back to normal, I was afraid to take a cab home,i walked home then I noticed that my apartment has been searched, I sat on my bed and I removed the cap,I looked at my hair,it was earthly brown, then Raven's word kept running through my head then I heard him speak RAVEN: Not surprised, I warned you RIVETTE: please help me Raven, my hair can't be like this. RAVEN: My magical spell won't last long, it would change back naturally when you start to learn your powers and accept your identity. RIVETTE: I'm not a hybrid, I don't know what power's you are talking about. RAVEN: The spells you casted in the café when you were almost attacked, I saw your fur little one RIVETTE: I don't know how it happened, I just said the spells that Reese usually says when she is practicing her magic and it all happened. RAVEN:You are still wanted by the Elders, they know where you live Rivette. RIVETTE: what I'm I supposed to do? RAVEN: I can take you to Alpha Liam,he could teach you about being a werewolf and I could teach you some magic RIVETTE:What about Reese? RAVEN: She still has to practice her magic RIVETTE: Who is Alpha Liam? RAVEN: He is an experienced teacher in Mystical Academy, a school for werewolves,witches and vampires RIVETTE:I'm going to a school? RAVEN: it's free from my mum and the Elders, you just have to learn from Alpha Liam before you can go to the hidden glade RIVETTE: Fine,I've heard you RAVEN: We would be leaving tonight RIVETTE: Okay RAVEN:(leaves) I packed my bags before night falls, then I looked through my window and saw some men walking towards my apartment and then Raven came and I disappeared into the shadows with him, the next minute we were in front of a big school, we walked in and every girls eyes were on him and they blushed,I followed him to Alpha Liam's office and we sat down, Alpha Liam was kind of old,he was known as Mr. Liam in the Academy. Mr. Liam :What brings you here Raven and greetings to the hybrid. RAVEN: she is the reason I'm here Mr. Liam: She has the features of not only Ethan RAVEN: I know, my mum and the Elders wants her. Mr. Liam: What's your name hybrid? RIVETTE: I'm Rivette Hailey Mr. Liam: You know you are bearing your mum's first name RIVETTE: Yeah, my Dad said I can't bear his first name because of some reasons Mr. Liam: You're welcome to Mystical Academy,you would be living here,your Dad went to this school but not as a hybrid RIVETTE: Really? (Smiles) Mr. Liam: Yeah RAVEN: I'll always come to check up on you little one Raven escorted me to my room in the school,I had no room mate, he helped me unpack and he gave me my Dad's journal but some pages were torn off,I got to know that girls in this academy actually loved him and they always fight because of him, he left promising to come back, I decided to walk around the Academy, then I saw Mr. Liam in a garden, he was just sitting there, his eyes were close and I could feel his aura,I sat next to him and he spoke. Mr. Liam: I'll be your mentor but you have to check out other classes later RIVETTE: Okay Mr. Liam: you know alot of things hybrid RIVETTE: I don't Mr. Liam: Luna RIVETTE: Hey, that's my pet name, my Dad made me promise that no one would know that I was being known as Luna around my family Mr. Liam:your Dad was really a brave Alpha RIVETTE: My Dad was an Alpha? Mr. Liam: he was the head of the Alpha pack. RIVETTE: that's cool Mr. Liam: but you would be greater than him RIVETTE: Thanks Mr. Liam Mr. Liam: you're welcome RIVETTE: I'll go check out this academy Mr. Liam: I hope you find it comfortable here RIVETTE: Thanks (smiles) I left the garden, I walked through the classes and I saw the vampires class, they were scaring the teacher, I went into the class and a girl called Selene tried scaring me but I didn't bulge then she spoke. Selene: Hey you, watch your step, and stay away from my Raven or else I'll suck your blood ( hisses) RIVETTE: you know your fang is used for sucking blood but mine is used for hunting for food (hisses) Selene: Who do you think you are?, this is my academy RIVETTE: I don't see your name written on it Maria: it's okay girls RIVETTE: And Raven doesn't have your name written on his forehead neither is he written "TAKEN" I left the class with a girl named Maria, she looked nice and calm, Selene was pissed off by what I said to her and she became angry Maria: Selene is really obsessed with Raven, she actually loved him since she was a child. RIVETTE: Really?,does Raven knows? Maria: I don't think so because he barely looks at the girls in this academy RIVETTE:(Laughs) That's ridiculous Maria: yeah but she always fights and bully anyone who gets close to Raven, so people admire Raven in their heart because she has ears everywhere. RIVETTE: Oh my gosh Maria: by the way I'm Maria RIVETTE: Rivette Maria: nice name RIVETTE: Thanks Maria: I'll be heading back to class now RIVETTE: No problem Maria: see you around (leaves) Maria left and I went to my room and I looked through my Dad's journal then I noticed a little girl on my bed RIVETTE: Who are you? Moira: I'm Moira, your guide RIVETTE: I didn't ask for one Moira: everyone in this school is always appointed a guide, so, I was appointed to look after you as your guide.(Smiles) RIVETTE: Okay,as you wish, I can see that you are really excited to be my guide Moira: yeah, because you are a hybrid RIVETTE: oh please, it's nothing Moira: you have alot of responsibilities on your shoulders, maybe you haven't been told RIVETTE: I don't even know what my power's are Moira: do you mind going to the garden? RIVETTE: I've been there earlier but I can go again Moira: we would go again tonight RIVETTE: Why? Moira: it's mostly quite at night RIVETTE: but I don't really want to trespass because Mr. Liam was there this morning Moira: I know but it's just a place to meditate and let your mind wander RIVETTE: Meditate? RIVETTE: um...really nice but I almost got into a fight with a girl called Selene because of you RAVEN: Me? RIVETTE: She is one of your lovers and she is a vampire,she said I should stay away from you RAVEN: Sorry about that, I know you just got here and I'm making you pass through this RIVETTE: It's fine RAVEN: can I make it up to you? RIVETTE: If you want to RAVEN: (Grins)You are so beautiful Rivette I was dumbfounded, he came close to me but I couldn't move,I stood still ,he leaned closer and kissed my tattoo, I was shocked, then he whispered "should I keep going?",I couldn't speak then he continued, his hands trailed through my laps and he held me by my waist, I bit my lower lip, he looked into my eyes then he kissed me,I couldn't move,it seems like he literally likes me,my hands slipped into his hair, he unbuttoned my floral gown and he stopped as if waiting for permission but I didn't pull away from him,then he whispered "Are you sure ", I nodded while my eyes were fixed on his and he exhaled,he kissed me deeper pulling every breath out of my lungs, I looked at him with desire,he kissed my navel and every part of my body,his hands traveled underneath my gown and he pulled down my underwear and he played down there with his fingers, I moaned, then his finger went in gently then he fastened his pace,I haven't felt like this in my entire life, i couldn't control myself anymore ,we heard a knock at the doors and he left, I dressed up and I went to the door, I opened it and it was Maria RIVETTE: HI MARIA: is everything okay? RIVETTE: yeah, just having a hard time with my guide MARIA:okay. ********RAVEN'S POV ********* I really do not know what is wrong with me, I couldn't control myself,I let my desire take control of me,she was a Virgin and so was i,she literally likes me also because she didn't try to run away from me, I still couldn't read her thoughts, whenever I come close to her, it seems like she is the only thing that made sense,I saw the desire in her eyes,I felt like she is the only thing I wanted in my whole life. *********RIVETTE'S POV ********* I went to the garden with Moira, it was dark and quiet at night, the light of the moon glowed at a perfect spot. Moira: (points at the spot) sit there RIVETTE: (sits) Moira: close your eyes and cross your legs and try to let your mind wander, keep your mind free from anything, and try to focus. RIVETTE: Okay. I sat ,legs crossed, I closed my eyes and the scene that happened between I and Raven played through my head, I tried to focus, I took a deep breath and then I felt some energy and vibration in my body,I could follow the rhythm of the wind and I found comfort meditating,I listened to the birds sing and I saw a vivid vision of myself being bowed to by the universe. ******RAVEN'S POV ***** I saw the soft lunar glow around her, I could see a great leader in her,is she really a hybrid?, I saw her fur and the infinity tattoo shone brighter,her hair was glowing, I was surprised by the features she possessed,I tried to get a better look at her,she was smiling sweetly, I was still captivated by her beauty, she really is an angel in disguise, my eyes met with Moira and I left the scene. ********RIVETTE'S POV *********** TO BE CONTINUED LATER ON.......
