Anxiety. That was the mood present in our lives lately. Ever since that morning, when we realized Jade was gone, we all tried to act like we saw it coming but truly, none of us did, not this soon. I tried not to remember that feeling but it was impossible not to, even after the many days went by and we hadn't heard from her. We knew she hadn't abandoned but, the other possibility was even a harder pill to swallow. I closed my eyes as the day freshly replayed in my mind once again.
