Chapter 5: We meet again.

Gabriel moved through the clearing, sucking in huge puffs of air as his legs worked to push him forward, he was out of breathe, having left his house a few minutes later for his jog. He abruptly came to a half in his fast sprint, leaning his hand against a tree to sturdy out his breathing. His shirt clung uncomfortably to his chest as he inhaled loudly. A soft breeze kicked up, causing his tousled hair to blow with it. The wind was caressing his skin, suddenly with the thought of that came another thought. Hands moved all over his skin, a man’s hand. A groan rippled through his throat as he shook his head to clear the dream. Normally wet dreams didn’t bother him that much, but this time the dream was too intense. He had woken up with a jolt, nearly tumbling off the bed if he hadn’t studied himself but that wasn’t what bothered him. It was the name he’d moaned as he woke up. “Sebastian,” Cold dread bloomed in his chest as he fought to get rid of the terrible memory. He had been dreaming about Sebastian, not just dreaming about him but it was a wet dream. He’d woken up with a hard on so fierce, he’d had no choice but to deal with it, and as he did so it was hard to keep the memory of Sebastian out of his head. As he leaned against the tree, he felt his member twitch as more memories of Sebastian filled his mind, causing heat to once again pool to his groin and a groan to seeped through his lips. “Damn it,” He hissed, absently gripping himself. So much for jogging away the feeling, he turned his head over his shoulder, his house stood a great distance away. Letting himself go, he gripped the back of his neck, breaking out into another jog as he considered a cold shower instead. When he got back, the house was quite. He pulled out his key; ready to open the door only to realize it was already opened. Strange, Unease clawed at his stomach, he had locked the door when he left. And only he, Jason and his help had keys. He ignored the stinging sensation at the back of his mind, deciding that he might have left the door open on his rush to leave. Still, he slowly walked into the house, gazing at the living room before walking into the kitchen. A box sat on his counter, a box that wasn’t there when he’d left. He heard the shuffling before he saw the hands from the corner of his eyes, adrenaline pumped through his system, causing his heart to beat hard, fast against his ribcage. His body moved without his thought, he grabbed the intruder by the collar of his shirt, peening them against the wall as his hand came up for a strike, his eyes met a pair of grey once and he stopped mid swing, his breath elevated. Relief replaced the fear, though that was also quickly masked by curiosity. His grip around Sebastian tightened, “What are you doing here?” his voice was strained, masked by his hard breathing. “I came to see you,” came the cool reply, Gabriel tightened his grip once more, pushing Sebastian harder against the wall as his body subconsciously pressed against him. The little relief he’d received from the jog back was swept away as desire rushed to his member, the loose shorts he wore felt restricted. His jaw clenched in rebellion to the heat that swept over his body, Sebastian met his gaze with realization, a small smirk tugging up his lips. “You don’t have a key, how the hell did you get into my house?” “Jason, I ran into him as I was about to leave,” Sebastian motioned to the package on the counter, “He was delivering that and he let me in, he told me to give it to you for him,” Gabriel narrowed his eyes on Sebastian, then pushed away from him shaking his head he glanced at the package, his throat working hard. “I don’t want you here,” He hissed, voice thick with anger, “Leave Sebastian, right now,” He ordered, his fists clenching tight once again. “Gabriel, we need to talk,” “I don’t have anything to say to you,” He met the other man with a sharp look, seeing Sebastian run a hand through his hair. Grey eyes swept over Gabriel’s body, stopping momentarily at his problem. A tang of pink tainted Gabriel’s cheeks. Clearing his throat, Sebastian looked back up at him, “Regardless, it’s about tonight. Even if you don’t want to talk to me, we can’t just run in guns blazing,” Anger swam in Gabriel’s mind, he didn’t want to be anywhere near Sebastian and especially after the dream he’d had. Being with the man had his heart in shambles and his body heating with want and desire. He shifted to ease the tightness of his pants around him. Ignoring the warning bells in his mind of how dangerous it was to spend any amount of time with Sebastian. “Fine, just…let me take a shower first,” He hesitated to leave the man alone, then decided the quicker he finished the shower and got this done with the quicker he wouldn’t have to spend any time with him. Yeah, you don’t want to spend any time with him, A tiny voice at the back of his mind snarled, catching him off guard. He walked up the stairs, taking them two at a time as he could feel Sebastian’s blistering gaze on his back. He turned the shower off to its coldest setting, standing under the freezing spray of water to calm himself down. It was nerve wrecking being up there, naked and knowing that Sebastian was just downstairs. He took the shower rushed; quickly turning from the cold water to hot when his body had cooled. He finished in less than ten minutes, slipping into a short sleeve shirt and trousers. He combed his still damp hair using his fingers. Quickly walking bare feet down the steps, and found Sebastian sitting at the counter, talking heatedly to someone. Ignoring him, he made his way to the coffee machine, grabbing two mugs off the counter and poured them each before sitting down. He sipped his as the other man turned off his phone, turning to him. His heart gave a sudden jolt as Sebastian grabbed his cup, smiling brightly at him. For a moment his mind slipped back to a later time, when he’d give him that smile every time he did something for him. Back then it filled him with warmth to see him smile, now...it filled him with dread. He did not feel anything for Sebastian; the man himself had killed all feelings he had for him by his actions. Clearing his throat, he broke the silence. “I’m listening, Tell me what you wanted to say about tonight,” His voice was clipped, formal. ---------- Gabriel’s voice was clipped, formal and had a note of coldness to it that very much disturbed Sebastian. What little joy he’d gotten from seeing a very flustered and nervous Gabriel in the morning evaporated at the cold determination in his eyes. He took another drink of his coffee, relishing in the coffee before sweeping his eyes back to Gabriel. He was still as handsome as he remembered him, if not more so over the years. So far, he was uncertain where they stood, he knew Gabriel was angry, hurt and determined to hide his feelings from him. A dark twisted part of Sebastian reeled at that thought, if Gabriel cared enough to want to keep his distance away from him; it meant he still meant a lot to the other man. So far he knew one thing, Gabriel still craved him, perhaps not as intensely as he hungered for the man, but the desire was there, buried deep under all the hate and hurt. “Why the rush?” Sebastian mused, a small teasing smile tugging up his lips, “Do you have some hot date?” His question was met by utter silence, Gabriel rolled his eyes and took another drink from his coffee, A small smile tugged up Sebastian’s, though he couldn’t deny the way his heart beat furiously at the thought of Gabriel being with somebody else, somebody who wasn’t him. He exhaled, a slight tension gripping his shoulders as he became serious. “Gabriel I still think you shouldn’t be a part of this,” He started, meeting the man’s gaze with his own determination, but he knew Gabriel wouldn’t be bullied into submission; he would do it with or without Sebastian’s permission. So he preferred he be there to protect the man and keep him out of danger, “But I know you well enough to know I can’t stop you,” He hesitated in his words, for a brief moment hoping he could stop Gabriel from going through with this, he was aware of all the dangerous that came with this. Going undercover, you forgot who you were and became the man they wanted you to be. Sometimes it was easy, and sometimes you could forget about yourself in the heat of battle, fully becoming the lie. “It’s good that you know that,” Gabriel nodded, folding his arms over his chest. “So, here is how we’re going to play this,”
