"Fatal Attraction/Fever"

Our silver tinted Cadillac made an abrupt stop in front of the Oceanview's administrative building. Like every other year, we have to wait for a while until the zombies disperse from around the doors. By zombies, I mean the "Jae-fever" fan club. Ughh...at this point I've gotten used to the banging and the shouting through the soundproof windows. Yeah, you heard me; even though they're soundproof, it's like my computerized brain replays their inhuman screams and weird noises to match their actions. Luck for a certain jersey-styled lengthy curly hair narcissist, he delves in their praises and feeds off their energy. Hence, why their all brainless and chant his name as if it's the only word they know. Soon the school's bulked up security team comes and clears a pathway for us.

I stood a far off, near the car, watching and waiting for the stampede chasing Jae and his jock friends, to go through. Before I could step off, hands were thrown around me. I bombarded by Angel and Chare`. Meet my best friends, who are cheerleaders; one's a jet-black haired one and the other a ginger-haired baby, respectively. Together we make up the most popular girl crew in school. I would also dare to dream in my fan-club, mostly boys, but when you have an extremely overprotective Jaeden and Jaedane as your brothers, my fan-club tends to admire and wave from afar. Not only that, but I also may or may not have gotten myself a tested, tried, and approved boyfriend, Tyler Valesquez.

Speaking of the devil, I saw him ripping the hallways as if it's his. Well, it's not. He attends the high school all the way across town, Blue Ridge. He is just like Jaedane in every way except the overbearing narcissistic disorder he has. Don't get me wrong, I don't have a "brother complex", but I must admit he emits a mysterious and breathtaking bad boy aura, however, he's the sweetest and softest boyfriend to me. He's been so for two years. I love him but not like a fated, married couple love. That summer when we met after my dance performance at a fest, you can say he swept me off my feet, as cliche as it sounds. It's true all the same and it is reciprocated and ever since I've been in "love".

Like Jaedane, Tyler is the heartthrob king of his school; the school's pride and joy, in every way. I know as much about him as one could ordinarily learn about their boyfriend. However, when I visit his home, there are certain cues or flags that I find off, but regardless, I shrug it off; as long as it doesn't affect me or our relationship. Contrarily, he has a picture-perfect family consisting of his stunning parents and equally out-worldly handsome three brothers; two older and an adorable six-year-old baby. Their family originates from a world-renowned family from Spain.

"Hello, mi amor." I turned away from my friends, at our joined lockers, to grace him with a smile. "Hey, Ty-bear," I fall into his tight embrace. Afterward, an awkward silence reeked among us five; causing us to flicker our eyes in our circle. However, I felt Tyler's stare piercing through my side profile. "Well,...we'll save you a seat in homeroom, Jaedae. Goodbye Tyler." Chare` says pulling Angel along with her.

I finish putting my new textbooks into my locker and shut it; giving all my attention to him.

"I miss you, babe. While I was in Spain, I thought about you a lot and so I ended spending most of my money on your gifts." - Tyler

"Oh, really? You know you didn't have to."- Jaedae

"Of course, I should. You are my eternal after all. I should let you go to homeroom early, so I came to see how you were. I haven't seen your beauty all summer, that and I want to invite you to the opening game tonight?"

"I'll ask my parents first and maybe I'll come if there's no homework."

"Okay, I'm fine with that. Let me know if anything." He says in a soft entrancing tone before kissing my lips.

After watching his fading shadow leave the hallway, I briskly walk to my homeroom. Phew, I sat just in time before our homeroom teacher, Mrs. Grey so graciously waltzes in.
