"After"

The first day of school went pretty smoothly without any drama lurking around. At the moment I was sitting on the stands overlooking Jae's practice. Great. Apparently, he told the driver that he could just pick both of us up at 4:30 when his practice ends. Something about him conserving on gas and being more loving to the environment, blah, blah. I mean, he's not wrong but seriously, when did he starting caring about the environment? If it's left to him, we'd all be depleted along with the earth. Soooo...I've come to accept my fate and here I am swaying with my head in my hands. Mhmm...he must have known something about something. Anyway, something popped back into my head and I got my iPod out to call Mom because I couldn't find my phone. "Hello, sweetie. Is everything okay." She states, sounding happy. "Yes, Mom. Actually, may I attend Tyler's game tonight?" "Um...sure as long as you get your homework done." She lightly scolds. "I did. Your son has had me stuck at school for almost two hours, so I went to the library and do it. Ughhh...mom why do I still need to travel with him? He's downright unreasonable." I complained. "Oh, really? I'll tell my driver to get you if you can't wait that long?" "Ah...It's almost the end by the looks of things. I'll wait." I sigh exasperatingly. "Strange, why would he do that though? *thinking* Did you say today is a game?" "Yes, Mom." "I see. [Isn't Oceanview playing Blue Ridge honey?-Speaks to dad assumably] Baby?" "Still here." "Your dad says Oceanview is playing Tyler's team today. You know how he gets when he's super competitive." "I see Mom, thanks for letting me go. I'll see you this weekend." *ends call* A beautiful yet devilish smile spread across my face towards Jaedane as soon as he turned to look my way. At first, he looked confused but then smiled as innocently as a four-year-old child. I rolled my eyes and picked my bag up; trying to suppress my anger and walked out to the front of the administrative building. The sound of wheels greasing the smoothly paved driveway echoed in my ears and soon a black Porshe pulled up in front of me. The driver came out and opened the door so I could go in. Fifteen minutes after Jae came in also and we headed home. The journey back was silent and so was the atmosphere when we entered our home. I got upstairs quickly to refresh and change. Sometime later, I came out with a robe and undergarments on while drying my hair. I went downstairs to get some snacks and beverages for tonight, but what I saw in the living room had me in reverse. I charged up to Jaedane, who was caught red-handed with my phone in hand. "Why do you have my phone? *grabs it from his hand* Ugh... I swear you get more and more on my nerves." "Woah, chill. When did you start behaving this way? I knew I shouldn't have agreed to let him date you!" "Oh, is that what this is about? Well, that doesn't justify your actions. Leave me out of your love-hate bromance with Tyler." I scoffed and stomped up the stairs." When I thumped down on my bed, pulling the belting of my robe, I jumped at the sight of Tyler sitting on the single chair near my balcony door. I glared at him in clear confusion. One, how did he get in my room and two, why was he here when he should be preparing for his game. He waved and smiled at me sweetly then came to hug me. I gently pushed him off. "Hey, I'm sorry I didn't have my phone so I couldn't respond." "But of course you did. That was pretty mean of you to blow me off too." "No, I didn't. *groans lowly* I didn't have my phone. Anyways, I have to change so you should go and prepare. Best of luck today. *kisses cheek and walks into walk-in closet* In thirty minutes I was done getting dressed in a royal blue fitted, woolen jumper with the yellow Paris logo in the middle, from my own collection, black jeans, and shiny black leather knee-high boots. I straightened my hair for the next few minutes and made it down just in time to see Jaedane heading out the door. I followed suit and hopped into the passenger seat of his car. He pinched my right cheek and reversed out the gate.
