Tasha and Gael were still having a conversation and all she could think of was how bad he was feeling after listening to the cruelty that Yvonne had gone through.
Looking at Gael in the eyes, she took out the envelope from her bag and putting it on the table she said,
"This is your balance and I hope that you have a comfortable life with this, and also as concern the promises I made to you, you will receive a call for a well-paid job together with a house and also a good car," her words came out but seeing the expression that was on his face, Tasha wondered what the problem was.
Normally, she expected to see a smile on his face or she thought that he was going to fall at her feet thanking her for the opportunity to become great but there was a problem, Gael had suddenly gone cold and it was something that was very confusing to Tasha.
"Are you not happy with the offer?" she asked smelling trouble but Gael not looking like the money was interesting to him anymore, implored that she to finish her story. His words had made her very confused as to why he was hanging on the matter which she gave birth to and Gael informing her that it had become more personal than work-related, she was dumbfounded.
Leaning more closer to the table and looking into his eyes, she asked in an insulting tone,
"What do you want?"
"I want her, I want to protect her, and also I want to be the one to show her how sweet loving someone and being loved back is," he narrated.
Tasha could see the seriousness in her eyes, and not wanting to push further, she moved herself back from the table and leaned back on her chair while picking up her glass of wine and putting it on her lips.
She gave Gael a killer look and without any further questions, she told him to take the money and if what he wants is to win her over completely in order to make her his wife, then he had her support.
Gael was the hope of a man who was not moved by words not promises but judging from the little time he had done business with Tasha, he could tell that he is a fair player, and also, she believes in love, unlike her friend.
He was not the type of man that she wanted for her friend but seeing how in love he has fallen for Yvonne and was a good thing because she is not going to be hurt. Gaels looks could make any lady go crazy and just from his accent, one could tell that he is a scholar.
Not wanting to impose anything on him, Tasha asked him to take the money and to make sure that he uses it well and bringing his mind back to the story that she was narrating to him, she whispered,
"If you happen to make her fall for you, be rest assured that she is going to narrate everything to you without leaving anything behind."
Gael was beginning to feel that the real job had started where he didn't have to give an account of whatsoever he was doing but it was going to be very tough as Yvonne was a very hard nut to crack. Things seemed to be going well do him and Tasha wished to see how far he was going to stay on the spot knowing fully well how her friend operates.
Yvonne could be a pain in the but and for anyone closer to her, they could tell that she was just like that with those that she cared because the moment she feels like you are not that important to her and you want to give her a headache, trashing you won't be a problem.
The sun could be seen setting behind the mountains and all he had wished for was to be a guardian angel to Yvonne. Though Tasha had not understood how they had gotten to that point, she just wanted to be the audience where she will seat at the back and just watch the show.
Tasha made sure to see her friend happy till the end and nothing was going to change that. She wasn't having the time of her life either, but Yvonne had been the one to make her underhand some things in life and she owed her at least and that was only one of the things she could do to repay her for all the times she stood by her and never let anything step on her. Not even her Mother in law.
She smiled and remembered the romantic passage Yvonne made her read and the erotic things that she loves.
"I couldn't wait further so I pulled her onto the bed and began romancing her and she was extremely experienced which made the whole moment intense".
"I loved what was happening and the body-to-body contact was fierce".
"Wait for a second, I can't go down with you without any protection". She mumbled as she got to her bag.
" I like it raw without any protection". I muttered as I continued kissing her.
"I can be infected or worst still get pregnant and I don't want that". She mumbled.
" I will double the amount I have to pay you if that will let me have you directly without any preservation". I voiced out.
I knew she wouldn't resist the offer and that was why I made it. Wealth and power could get you anything and anyone you want on this planet.
"Like how much are we talking about here?". She inquired.
" Enough to change your life for good". I replied.
"Okay, I am going to give you what you want". She said without any additional delay.
I couldn't wait to get down with her and have a good time so that she could take off the next day.
And Smiling some more, she laughed at how Yvonne loved things she couldn't do
