While they are still at it, Gael's phone began to vibrate on the table in the middle of his conversation with Tasha and glancing at who could be the caller, he had identified Marco as the person, and immediately his blood boiled inside his veins as he feared that there could be some bad news behind that call.

An uneasy feeling had taken over his body and all he could think of was the call. Feeling like Gael was not fine, she was forced to ask what the other was and he could not answer as he was uncertain about what was happening.

"Excuse me please but I have to take this call," he whispered before picking up his phone to answer the call.

"Hello, Gael where are you, your mom needs you now she is at the hospital," Marco said gently and his eyes had widened up in shock immediately he heard him say that.

Gael's heart was beating faster than an engine that was at work and Tasha catching a glimpse of how restless he was, was forced to rise on her feet to go ask what the matter was.

"Here are you okay?" that was the question that came out of her mouth but the look on his face, made her do know that he was not fine.

"Talk to me Gael, what is the matter, why the sudden change of look," she asked feeling nervous about the whole situation but as it was, he told her to please excuse him as he needed to lead the way for the hospital and all he wanted to do now was to rush.

Confused and worried at the same time, She wanted to know what was happening to him and why he was looking like that and Gael told her that his mother had fallen into another crisis again and he needed to go to the hospital.

"I am driving you there," Tasha spoke out walking to her seat to pick up her bag and Phone as well but Gael standing still and looking at her in surprise, told her not to as it was just a minor issue.

Tasha let out a smile at him and told him not to bother about her, she also drew his attention to the fact that someone can not be rushed to the hospital for something which is just minor.

He did not know what to say as his eyes and ears found it difficult to believe that there were still wealthy and good people amongst them. Lifting her head and seeing Gael still standing in one position, she asked him whether he wished for a picture of her or all he wants to do is to let his mom alone at the hospital.

A smile had set on his face and without any hesitation, he said,

"Thank you very much, Tasha, for this kindness." Her heart had melted on listening to him say that and giving him a swift look, she told him not to thank her because it was normal to help others but if he did not wish for any problems between the both of them, he has to take care of her friend and promise never to hurt her, because, she will come for hon like a devil from the abyss.

Gael promised not to do that. So Tasha asked him what he was waiting for pick up the envelope from the table, she gave him a friendly smile before asking that they head straight to the hospital before something worst happens.

The day was a sunny one, and the streets were full. It was a Monday hence a very busy one for those who live in the big cities. Driving through the traffic that had begun to set in as it was time for some people to start going back home, as well as others who had to cross students who were out of school and were returning to their houses.

Everything seemed nice on the streets, there were no cases of theft nor s****l abuse like it was the case sometimes in the city. Gael looked out through the mirror as he could not concentrate fully on the road. His heart was heavy and his mind was filled with a lot of questions. Not being able to understand how he had gotten to that point in his life, he was grateful for the help that Tasha was rendering to him but at the same time, he did not want to feel like he was a burden for anyone and that was something that he wanted to avoid by all cost.

Evan was already in front of Yvonne's building and looking at the picture on his phone that was sent to him by Lisa, he admired her beauty from there but not knowing what could have caused Lisa to want to hurt her, he followed the instructions solely while waiting for her to leave her edifice at some point in time of the day.

Yvonne was sitting on the balcony which was her favorite place. Sometimes she wished not to go out of her house, not even for a day and all she could think of was to sit down on her well-adapted terrace where she could see the whole city.

Though the sprain on her ankle still hurts, the pain had subsidized greatly after she had taken the painkillers and they were having a great effect. Yes, it was really great and all she could do was to wait for it to heal completely so that she could return to work.

Sitting at home was not her thing and having to think that she was going to stay at home for some time, gave her cold feet as she did not wish for something like that. Looking at the calm and beautiful view of the city, her head thought of the man who had given her first kiss and the feeling came back freshly with memories that she could not dodge from.

"Why can't I control my heart and mind from thinking about you Gael, what have you done to me?" she questioned herself looking like a fool, and the feeling that followed it was not good at all.

Her existence had been from one surge to another and seeing how new what she was seeing inside was, her fears were so many and all she expected to do was stop it before it hurts her. Letting out a deep sigh, Yvonne looked at her phone and decided to watch some romantic movies, that was one of her favorite things to do on a lonely day.
