She moves swiftly around the island and wraps her arms around her son, holding him tightly. “I know that must have been very hard for you,” she murmurs, her voice soft and motherly. Will exhales shakily. “I know I’m not as stocky as the rest of them, but I’m not weak. I could carry him just fine,” he mutters. Florence pulls back slightly, offering him a small, sad smile. “That’s not what I meant.” Sebastian watches his son with a gaze that is both pained and proud. “Thank you for showing that level of kindness and respect to your brother,” he says after a long pause, "I know you had your differences.” Will nods, his voice barely a whisper. “We did.
