Chapter 13

The floor was slick with blood. A scream from her right had Sabrina turning to face the cafeteria freezing in her tracks like most of her other classmates did as well. She watched in horror as a group of five jocks wrestled a kid to a table holding him down and slathering what looked like barbecue sauce over him before leaning down and taking huge chunks of flesh from the screaming kid.

“Is that barbeque sauce!” Jason screamed

"I I think I'm going to be sick” came Bri’s stuttering reply with the sounds of someone retching.

"We need to get the f**k out of here!” Sabrina screamed as one of the feasting jocks turned his attention from his meal to the fresh meat. Sabrina caught movement out of the side of her eye and watched as Emma broke the formation to open a door that looked bloody.

“ This way its empty” Emma called as a mass of students started to make a mad dash for the room those in front fighting the zombies from before and more as they poured out of classrooms to the very loud dinner call Emma had done. Sabrina slipped into the room with the other three who were with her. Before she could even react Emma slammed the door shut and locked it. Sabrina could hear those left outside screaming for help and to be let in.

“NO! Matt!” she screamed, trying to shove Emma aside, but it was too late she could hear his screams of agony and betrayal if she opened that door right now, she would be damming everyone who made it into the room. “You f*****g killed them! How could you!” Sabrina screamed, turning her anger on Emma.

Emma just smirked “ It was them or us and if I'm being honest this rooms smells a lot better without them” she said. Sabrina took a moment to look around at the faces around her Emma, Bri, Jason, and Kyle.

“f**k you Emma they were our friends and classmates they could of made it” she shrieked feeling a hot boiling sensation fill her body and mind. “You f*****g killed them you don’t deserve to make it out of here f*****g alive” Sabrina cussed feeling strong hands grab her by the forearms from behind as she was hauled back.

“Sabrina think about what your about to do before you do it “Jason said trying to calm her.

Sabrina blinked through eyes that stung from the salt of her tears that were now streaming down her face “Oh I'm thinking clearly “she said hotly “Why don’t you three go secure us a ride and leave Emma and I here to have a little chat?” She said her voice full of malice.

“Wait you're not all seriously going to leave me in here with that psycho?” Emma yelped

"You made your f*****g bed princess now lay in it” Bri said to Emma “ You f*****g killed all of those people you deserve whatever you get” She said Sabrina watched as the three left out the window shutting it after them and turning to Emma who had her arms crossed looking unimpressed.

“So, what are you going to do? Kill me?” Emma asked, not sounding scared in the least.
